Afternoon Pottersssssssssssssssssssssss
Have finally sorted out a new pot and have christened it with 93p, 52p of which was road kill!
Have finally waved goodbye to Sky after 12 years and my bank balance is loving it, we decided to see if we missed having the tv package after no end of problems with our sky box meaning all the series we were watching were not recording at all or only half recording, and so far, not missing it in the slightestSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Jakes Mum - I relinquished from Sky last year when I realised I wasn't watching many of the sky channels and I was watching the standard channels that I can get from Freeview, but I needed to keep the broadband so lost the TV element but that freed up £30 a month, then in December last year I got a letter saying that the line rental was going up on my phone line and if i wanted to end my contract early I was able too, so I phoned up and cancelled the phone and broadband package, which meant I got out of my contract four months early and then I did a price comparison for a new broadband only provider and found a deal with Eeeeee and got £150 from quidco for the privilege so they are paying for my contract with them for the next six months,
Very MSE lol....
So I am now better off as saved £30 a month, but have been given £150, and my DD is now £2.50 a month rather then £30 and still get my broadband and now I watch the standard channels on Freeview on on catchup.... Yes, you can either put a knife in the slot and slide the coins out down the knife, or my other pot I have made a hole in the bottom just big enough for the coins to come out and then sellotape over the hole and place on a saucer, or you can tap the top of the pot with a screwdriver and apparently the top cracks off smoothly and you can empty but I don't like that option although it's the way recommended by terramundi....
Making a hole in the bottom is the easier option and can't be seen when on the shelf,
I too think they are too expensive to smash, I have a deluxe one too which is holding my £1 coins....
The hole in the bottom sounds like a good idea. I didn't know the pots came in different sizes. Will check them out again.

Dragon Lily - There are lots of lovely new ones on the terramundi website but if you find one you like the look of, type it into google search bar as sometime you can find alternative sites where they are selling them a lot cheaper then the teraamundi site, I found that there are a good selection on Zon of Ama, also some of your local department stores may sell them along with Cards Clint!n so this option also this counts as MSE shoppingI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards. This might not be in the rules (not sure) but my husband was called out to a job yesterday (a homer) and brought home £180 which was an unexpected Bonus. We treated ourselves to a takeaway last night (naughty) and put the remaining £160 in the sealed Pot. I checked to see how full it was with my comb and it's still a good three inches from the top- I thought it was much closer than that, so will just need to focus on more pounds being potted!CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

Way to go JoJo,
I can't see why it would count as long as its gone in the sealed pot, this challenge is not the same as the collect your change ones that I have seen so then It could be classed as a little backhanded lol, but thats a good haul well done and very MSE to put it straight in and not spend it on what always almost turns out to be on nothing -
just think of the total and the end when you get to open it.... Yay ££££I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Banking & Borrowing, and Reduce Debt & Boost Income boards.
