Since Westie983 has posted a photo of his pot, I thought I'd post a photo of my lovely piggy bank. I put £1 next to it to show how big he is - I think he'll hold a lot of coins! Only problem is I can't work out how to post a photo!

    £7.50 potted today.:)

    Evening

£7.62 potted today. I took money out to get my lottery tickets and fond that the shop I go to doesn't sell the lottery anymore so I bought a bottle of juice and potted the change.

    I hope everyone is well.

Evening all, hope all are well. Nice weather here, hope you are all getting your share.

    Not much spending, so changed a tenner - 5 x £2 coins and added 2 x £1 coins = £12 potted.

A very Good Morning, everyone, I hope you all have a great day, but to all those not be feeling well or are under the weather in any other way, take great care and be patient and here's hoping you all will be very much better soon. For now, have these special {{{hugs}}} to help you through. Take care, all Potters, save cash whenever you're able, but don't worry if you can't!

That's it, Seaotter, you're looking at the "unable to save days" in a good light, if we don't spend then it HAS to be a good thing! BTW, please have a look at the 1st post on Page 1 to see how to put a photo of your piggy bank on here.

Many thanks, Vicky, it was the perfect day.

So, if you should decide to keep earning, Lynne, what you describe is the perfect way of doing so. Good luck to you whichever pipe-line you wriggle into! :D Well done with the banking and thanks for popping it on your siggy. BTW, have a WONDERFUL HOLIDAY and bon voyage tomorrow!

Sue, I put most of it in my savings account, kept some back to go in next pot

Ah, well done, Daddybear, I'm so pleased you've still got it, and.....still saving hard! :j

What you're doing with your coppers and holiday sounds ideal, dreamingofmoney.

The way you described your day with "some bits good, some not so" is how it goes for us all, Helen. So, when the 'not so' bits come look ahead to the better ones! Great saving and hope you had a lovely time with your Grandparents, what a fantastic time they've had together!!

Great saving as ever, Kerry. :T

To Dragon Lily and Westie (and all other Terramundi owners) PLEASE DON'T EVEN THINK OF SMASHING YOUR POTS!!!!! Those who make the pots would love it if you did that - then went out and bought new ones, but here on SPC we NEVER fulfil their wishes! :j When November comes, take a knife and gradually coax your cash out, very often you get several tumble out together, it's really exciting and at least when it's empty you can start using it straight away again!! The full instructions are all on the 1st page. Please don't try making a hole in the bottom as you risk smashing the entire pot!! :(

Very good saving, 32b3, you too, Lynsey and Modesty!. :D:D:D

Where are you too these days, ETO? We've not seen you for far too long!

I hope the new job went well, Lizzie, the savings obviously did!! :j

Enjoy a lively or peaceful Sunday, SPCers whatever you wish for!

    Sue x

NB: SPC Savers: 5th November will be the new 2015 opening date!

Anyone wishing to join, it's NEVER too late, so please just ask, you're more than welcome. :grinheart

    Thanks for the warning Sue

I have been a terramunid owner for the last eight years and have managed to make a hole in three of my pots, granted you have to be careful not the tap too hard but its a good activity to do in front of the TV with a knife, little taps to get the hole big enough, then shake the pot to get all the ceramic bits out then sellotape over.

The first teraamundi pot I had i did the knife trick but it too far far too long, so decided to go for the hole in the bottom, but I can understand that its a risk, my new one has got no hole as I'm hoping to keep the money in it.

The hole in the bottom of my bigger one was useful as I have swopped the £1 and the £2 coins round as I have more £2 coins saved then £1 and as I have two differing sizes of pots it made sense to put the £2 coins in the bigger one, which holds £3k in gold coins so hopefully I will get there, I have placed them side my side so makes depositing easier
