Hi Everyone
Hope you're having a lovely day. The sun is shining in Yorkshire - at least for now anyway :-)
Potted £1.50 yesterday. Found a scratch card in my bag today - won £1, so that will also be going into the pot today!

Hi All! Can I join this challenge please?
I already have 2 sealed money tins, one with just 1 + 2p's (Its full tho, so just got another) and another has 5s 10s 20s and 50s in (Don't usually put £1s in) - that tin is 1/2 full... Can I add whats already in these to this challenge? - had them a while but only put stuff in now and again so will make more of an effort to top them up too nowMake £10 a day Challenge June - £1700 -
Oh, would you indeed, you naughty girl you, Ruth!!! You be careful your OH doesn't see you both - or trip over the pair of you!! There's always a limit to speaking your thoughts you know.
Come on, Ruth, pull your socks up and forge ahead, especially as it looks as though your OH is urging you.
Haha Sue. That's exactly the type of joke my OH would make. Although i doubt he would be laughing if i was actually rolling around with a Chinese man lol
We got Chinesebut he did convince me not to have cake last night. i'm so terrible i know. I'll get there slowly

It will mean less change to pot, but might leave me with much more in my bank account at the end of March..... possibly!! I will have change to pot on Saturdays though as I will buy my lottery tickets with cash.
Just remember that when you were spending in cash you were potting regularly so that would make it feel like you were spending more. When you're paying by card try and work out the amount you would have potted daily or weekly and add this to your 'spends' so that you get a clear picture.
Well i am officially loan free!! I only have my CC to clear now. I need to raid my ISA to loan my sister some money so i'm thinking of taking a little extra to help pay for my insurance for next year. This will mean i can focus on clearing my CC then start paying back my ISA money.
Not much potting going on for me and i still haven't sorted my total for Feb. I really need to get back on the ball!!Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Hello my lovely! Yes of course you can join, we never turn a potter away around here. Looks like you're already off to an amazing start! You can add anything already collected, it's not a problem.
Sue will be over to give you a number soon. Whilst you're waiting have a read through the first post so you know what's what. But that's it, by asking you are technically a memberwelcome to the family.

First day in the office after my sick leave! The downside is it cost money (much cheaper staying at home). The upside is I have potted the three £1 coins I got as change when I bought cups of tea and had a natter with a colleague.Declutter our home in 2024

I remember that feeling SeaOtter I am still on phased return so I have yet to experience the full force of working my normal hours... I'm with you with the expense of it all - I now have to think of petrol cost to get me to work - but its good to be back for socialisation, makes the costs worth while.

You are indeed right Crimson-addict. I will make a note of what I spend, and how much I would have potted
My niece paid me some money she owes me today, and so I bought all the Easter eggs I needed. I have potted the £2.41 change from the eggs.
Hope everyone is well.
