  • Hello! Please may I officially join?
I have been popping bits and bobs of change into a money box since the New Year & would like a challenger number if possible!
    Thank you!

Welcome brokeapproaching30 :) you'll have a fab time collecting all your pennies and loose change! Or even finding change on the side of the road :D

Must warn you though, it is addictive!!

Hope you've all had a fab weekend! Back to reality tomorrow now I've had my three days off :(

Haven't potted anything yesterday or today (so far) as haven't spent anything, and when I have its gone on my card x

Welcome brokeapproaching30 - I'm a newbie to this too (and to the MSE forums for that matter. And it's definitely addictive!

I've put 5 November in my diary for the great piggy bank opening! Just need DH to let go of his loose change more!

Hi all, hope everyone's ok. I've managed to pot £2.50 that I saved by using N$ctar points plus £1.04 roadkill and a handful of silver from my purse.

Scotsmumof3 Love and hope being sent to you and your DH.

Jakes-mum, hope Miss Lily's hand is on the mend. Sending her a hug.

    Hugs to all in need.

It's that time of the week again.

I've potted a £2 coin and 80p in change. It would have been more but I dropped 20p and cannot find it - think it is somewhere under the settee!

I've kept 4 pound coins in my holding pot in case needed before I go to the cash point tomorrow.

My house guest was off to get a Chinese takeaway earlier tonight as she'd been given £5 unexpectedly yesterday. I almost asked her to get me something, but I wasn't about to spend my £2 coin, and it would have taken most of the money I had.

So I have a bean pie cooking in the oven which was so easy to make and I'm off to eat it now

  • I'm home now, had no change to put in my pot but will be back at work tomorrow so will start potting money again :)

Put my iPhone torch on so I could see how full my tin is and I think it's 3/4 full! Feeling really heavy :D

    Morning Peeps :)

Wow, it sounds like everyone is doing REALLY well!! Keep it going Folks... ;)

Sorry I haven't been around over the Weekend....I had a Weekend Course to attend and it was BRILLIANT but totally exhausting....

I Potted around £8-ish last night....I will be REALLY happy if I can continue to Pot at this rate....here comes the next £350!! :D

I have also made a commitment to myself not to buy ANY Scratchcards in the month of March....I'm not exactly addicted to them but it was starting to become a bit of a problem and it's just not worth it!! So none at all for me this Month....Which is good cause it means if I am tempted to buy one then I will put the money aside and simply put it in my Pot instead :D
