Hope you're all having a good day. I'm off to the gym now, haven't got any change for the car park so will have to be a £5 so will have £4 to put into my pot tonight! I'm going out for dinner and a film with a friend from work so hopefully will have a couple more to add tonight!

40p potted last night - you can tell how stressful my day has been by how many 20ps I have to pot - each one is change from the chocolate machine :eek:

Hi everyone

As I have been getting a lot of 50p's in my change recently, so have decided to concentrate on potting them (plus any £2 coins). Will make it easier to count up when I open the pot in Nov. I got 2.50 in change yesterday so potted it!

You will all hopefully be so proud of me! Went out to get a nice shirt for tonight, got one from town and then went to buy some shoes, saw some I liked but then I was like, are they worth £30 so I put them back and have only spent £11.30 in town! Why buy something you don't need?! I'm learning slowly!

Well done busylizzie my weakness is shoes they just call to me and unfortunately I answer that call I'm doing better now though honestly :)
Thanks so much sue we have to wait for the results of the biopsy but the surgeon thinks it may be stage 1 larynx cancer. We are a bit shell shocked to say the least. He is only 49 and apart from asthma is really healthy. Never mind we are staying positive and hopefully the results will be in quickly and we can move on from there. Thanks for thinking of us

Well done on your amount potted! I get paid in cash weekly and am accumulating so much change with paying for things with notes. Today alone I've had £16 worth of change :O

Hope all goes okay with the results and there's ways to make him better. I'm sure we are all thinking of you x

I've got one of those tins from b&m bargains, feeling it after I just added change from shopping, I think it's about half full. Had change from petrol station this morning, £4 from car park, change from primark, change from cafe at lunch. All change has been put in my tin but added up how much I've put in today and will let you all know tonight

Stay strong and positive. Cancer is affecting so many people now and it's the people who don't deserve it who suffer. Fingers crossed for you both hun x
