Been off work today to look after the poorly better half after her operation. She was kipping so I went to get a haircut. Totally forgot to bring coinage with me so had to take out £20 at the atm. Got the haircut, £9 change, and when i got back to the car... a nice shiny 50p right next to my door in the car park space. Winning! £9.50 potted today.
  • Thanks, Sue Will update my signature. £1 potted today. Change from shopping.

We went to Albuferia for a month two years ago. It was Jan/Feb and the weather was ok but it was soo quiet - in fact most of it was closed for the winter. We had a good holiday though as we hired a car for a week and went out and about as well. We wouldn't go back though :o

Had another NSD today :) so also a NPD :(

Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday

  • Morning People :)

Thank You for my Star Sue :D And you're right....Last time I went down to Cornwall was November 2013.....I can't wait to see the Children :)

Decided to Pot another Fiver this morning....So I'm pleased with that!!

I have woken up feeling really positive and happy....I feel this Week is going to be a VERY productive.... :)
  • Still potting away quietly, I sold some items from DD2's wedding and got almost what I'd paid for them. DD had some (for stuff I'd refused to buy because she'd already got something for that purpose and had changed her mind!) The lady that bought them didn't even haggle, obviously not a MSE er! It's all gone in the emergency pot but will be transferred by opening day if I don't need to use it. (£45)

  • Hello :)

After being so rubbish with my money, I've been purchasing a few of those tins you can only open with a tin opener? Is it too late to join? I've spent all day reading your posts! I think this is amazing!

I'm aiming to save up for my first holiday with my boyfriend which is over my birthday period too! I'm guestimating Ive got £200 so far, but would love to join this group!
