Evening all! I've had a fabulous time in the Algarve, relaxing and uncomplicated - just how I like it. We stayed at the same place we have stayed with Mum a few times - her favourite place - and I can't say there weren't tears shed, and I kept getting an extra plate out , BUT, it was a lovely time too. I have only just got back and read the thread immediately - Lynsey, your poem brought tears to my eyes - laughter tears, and I then read it out to my oh, accent as well - and it made him laugh too - a real medicine for us both. Anyway, on a potting front, I have thrown £5 worth of change into my pot.

Well, I have some news!! After not having a full Weekend off or away since November 2013, I have Booked myself a Weekend down in Cornwall over Easter Weekend....I'm going to see my Brother, Sister-in-Law and their 5 Children....I adore all of them and I haven't seen them since August last Year so it will be wonderful to see them all and I get a Weekend away to relax and chill out.....Plus I am kipping on their Living Room Floor and have already Booked and Paid for the Coach Ticket....so it should be a fairly cheap Weekend....With lots of cuddles and fun with the Children...


I DID Pot my Fiver yesterday but didn't go out so I just Potted the Coins rather than a Note....but that's fine....and it's another Fiver in the Pot....The Pot is getting VERY heavy now....I think I may need a new one soon

Good morning everyone :hello:

Well, last week was spent visiting a friend in Dubai. Not moneysaving in the slightest, BUT it was all budgeted for and I'd been saving up for ages. It helped that I didn't have to pay for accommodation. Thankfully, although my friend lives close to the "Torch" building which was on fire on Friday night, she has been unaffected. Thank goodness no one was harmed in the building.

Anyway, back to the matter in hand: £2 potted - change in the bottom of my purse. :j
