    I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon all.

Sue, do you stock up 6 months - 12 months worth of toiletries etc??
I like to have a stash and stockpile with offers/promotions.
Got a few more packs of 9 toilet rolls today from Superdrug (buy one pack, get one pack half-price) - 18 rolls for £3.
They are ok at under 17p per roll and will do for the guests. :rotfl:
Worth a look while they're (not their ) on offer.

    Potted 2 x £1 coins today.

Had a nice drive around the coast and some amazing views of the waves smashing against the pier (Tynemouth). Plenty of watchers out today, but it is a fairly nice day, apart from the winds!!

£1.11 potted last night after buying DH's birthday meal. Have been shopping today but used card so no change.

Thank you for my new star Sue. My poor DD has certainly been through the mill, you have no idea. We've all been hoping her luck is changing as she starts her new job in 2 weeks and is looking forward to it so much.

I'm having to stop potting £1 coins as DH needs them for when he goes fishing but the notes I change them for will be potted.

Welcome all our new potters, enjoy saving.

    Hugs to all in need.

Forgot to say, had email from the lottery and I've won £25 so that will be potted when I get it out of the bank. :D

Well this getting up at Helen o'clock must be catching as I have been up since 4.30am - what's that all about on a Sunday ???
I am normally an early bird but even for me that's a bit crazy :rotfl:

    Hello Meowhouse2

We almost passed! I'm a late bird and I was on my way to bed at about 4. Woke up at 10.30 but fell asleep again for another couple of hours. Fatal, as I will still be bright and breezy in the early hours.

Haven't added anything else to my pot lately. Haven't done much shopping in person so haven't been getting any change to put in. It's all money saving in the long run though, since I am probably spending less by jot going out and getting tempted by things, then again I do a lot of my shopping online.

  • Evening all

Just realised I haven't been posting in here. I've been absentmindedly potting away without posting.
Anyhoo , just emptied my purse of everything except notes and £1 coins. A total of £2.95
And I have a handful of change in the centre console of the car from the last time I was at the shop, but it's too cold out there to go and get it so that will have to be potted another day.

Evening everyone, I'm still potting bits and bobs. Bits of roadkill where I can and change every now and again. I potted £7.51 today. 1p roadkill (well, it was gleaming there on the pavement just begging to be picked up) and £7.50 from my sister that she owed me for her lunch last week. We didn't have enough change between us to sort it out at the time. Anyway, into the pot it went today.

We spent last Saturday in London looking round he British Museum. The day out was her Christmas present and we both had a brilliant time. We had a guided tour with a lovely gentleman telling us about certain pieces in the collection. Truly fantastic! I really wish I lived closer so we could go to museums more often.

Lovely as ever to hear what you have all been up to.
