Sue-UU, the trouble is that I didn't anticipate putting in so many notes into my pot and it's one of those Poundland tins that needs a tin-opener to get money out from
I distinctly remember putting in £60 worth of notes, there's might be an extra fiver or two but I'm not 100%, and I remember intending to put a £10 note in the pot but I'm not sure if I did or changed my mind and spent it instead... And I've only been potting since mid-November!
I've had a think and I'm going to let my pot fill up through February, then when I empty my bank account the day before payday to put in the pot, I'll shuffle all the money so far into an ISA and put the building society book in the loft.
Work have changed my hours so now I'm working tomorrow and the change I was going to put into the pot is now going into work's coffee machine so no more potted today. Although I'll be doing a shop on Friday so hopefully will get some change from thatSPC #0800 -
So, have you asked who's responsible for getting rid of your car, Saver-upper? Tis a wonder you haven't been told, but I think I'd ring the Police and ask them. Great savings!
Hi,Sue,
When OH phoned up our insurance company to tell them of the fire, the man said they would send out an assessor to see if the car was salvageable :rotfl::rotfl:.At first we assumed that would be that afternoon, when nobody came we assumed it would be the next day........I have told OH he should phone and check what is going on.He says it is on his list of things to do.(To be fair to him,he did work from 11.30am Sunday morning til 6am Monday with only cups of tea/coffee to sustain him.He was very jealous when,at 1am,I told him I was going to bed

Morning all, not a bad day here. It could be a lot worse!!
Bad sleep though and I was awake at "Helen o'clock". lol
I should have popped on for a chat.
Loving seeing all the potting and I have that gut feeling we are well ahead of last year at the same time. Keep it up, we don't have the full 12 months this time!!
Just another single £1 coin potted, but I'll be doing a small shop later and will get some more. I must be due a £2 coin!!

Using a budget program now and logging all my potting - I've tried to do it so it comes out of the budget but doesn't show me an obvious total as one of the things I am looking forward to is the Ohhhhh, HOW MUCH! moment when I break the pots and count up
Mr Pot number 2 is fattening up quite nicely - he's had a couple of 2 squid nugs and a load of change recently. 81p potted last night. So even though I'm not daily updating I AM daily feeding the greedy b*gger :rotfl:
Happy potting, potting folk. Hope your day is safe, warm and well XXComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Potted around £1.60 last night from OH's change he had left
It's a NSW for me, please hurry payday!
But I should make £12 on Friday which will go straight into my pot, which makes up for the lack of potting this week. But no potting means I wasn't spending...so I guess that's good!
Hope you're all having a fabby week.xx

Saver-Upper, thank goodness you are safe. It must have been terrifying being in your car when that happened. I hope the assessors get back to you soon so you can get rid of the reminder of your lucky escape.
Just 48p potted today.
