Evening everyone
Thanks for your lovely comments SueUU it's really great to be back :T:T
DreamerHelen hope your back on your feet soon x Don't know if it will help but I bought some of that BroncoStop (new medicine) being advertised on the tv recently and although expensive seemed to do the trick @sda is cheaper than Boot$ by about a 1/3 (more to pot then - it's flavoured with thyme which is ok but a bit weird but it's all herbal and does the trick (well did for me anyway as I said)
OMG you were really lucky saverupper  that could have been really nasty - bet you were glad you were near home
Well a fiver for the pot today as I took lunch to work so happy with that :TFormerly Meowhouse

Morning Everyone
Am still feeling pretty rough this morning....But it's mostly just my Throat, I'm not particularly bunged up at the moment...so that's good!!
I've managed to get an easier couple of days yesterday and today to give me time to recover...and I'm only out for the morning today, so that's not too bad!!
LoL Sue...I AM doing rather well at Potting this Year aren't I?I'm feeling VERY proud of that....haven't needed to open my Pot and I shall NOT be opening my Pot until Opening Day
Potting another £2.70 this morning
*Hugs* to those that need them...and Thank You for all the best wishes for me....It really does warm my heart that people care...so thank you0 -
Good morning, first time on for a week or two and have just seen the total amount potted by our members for 2014, that is an amazing total, well done everyone. Im steadily potting away, holding pot still working nicely for me and I have dipped into it when I had to. I will have a nice tidy little sum to pot on Friday (payday for me) I do the grocery challenge on here and this month for the first time I have spent under budget so will be potting my surplus which should be about £21+!!!!. How do you get the stars from Sue? I keep seeing folk post them on their siggies and am getting star envy, need to pot more...need to pot more....catch up with you all soon xSPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

Hi all, I've been MIA for a bit and haven't had time to catch up on the thread or post any updates of my own. Some potting going on, not much but as others have said, I'm not spending much either so all's good.
Got a few coppers of roadkill though. I keep an eye out as I walk about.
Very busy time at work at the moment for some reason. Lots of projects getting busy at the same time I think.
Saver-upper, that must have been very frightening. I remember a similar thing happening to my brother and he was on the hard shoulder of a busy motorway trying to get things out of his car as it burned. Scary stuff!

Just potted £5.96 -- haven't been out for a few days so that's money saved from shopping / my bus/train fare
Saver-upper, I remember something similar happening with a car my mum only owned for a couple of months -- we were in the fast lane of the motorway when the car started smoking  Thankfully, it didn't burst into flames -- thank heavens you're OK!
Hope you feel better soon, DreamerHelen and anyone else feeling ill.
Well done to everyone who's been potting!Although, does anyone else worry about the number of banknotes in their pot?

Oh,thank you everyone for your lovely wishes and thoughts. It was frightening, and there are so many ways it could have been worse.Doesn't bear thinking about .So OH and I are sharing the little runaround car we have.I have 2 days off now,so OH can take it to work for that time. But I do wish someone would come and collect the car off the side of the road.It looks awful,is changing colour by the day (rust,I guess!),and it is embarrassing that even after this long traffic and pedestrians are still slowing down outside our house to have a gaze-in-wonder .
Anyway, have spent today shuffling stuff between bedrooms. While I was at it,I found coinage spilled out of my pocket into the bottom of a washing basket it was in.In the interest of tidying (well,I AM on a decluttering streak at the moment),I put it in my pots. While I was at it I got all the loose change I have been collecting in my dressing gown pocket for the last month.
Total potted today was £6.34.I am sure I have some more lurking around,so may have more to report tomorrow, after another day of sorting STUFF!!!Just sooooooo much stuff :eek:SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
