Apologies for being MIA, I have been at my beautiful Mums bedside for the last 5 weeks and sadly she passed away on Wednesday, though I was holding her hand which is a comfort.
I'm sure you understand I will be back when I can.

Soo sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences to your family and friends and also a big ((hug)) for you

    Hello all,

I have had a bit of a result today, I have found that my phone company has refunded £9.26 to me for various boring reasons (mainly because of poor customer service). I thought that I would treat myself to a book for my PC kindle app for 19p (I feel a little guilty but it could have been worse and I am really enjoying the book so far).

I have transferred the rest this to my savings account so a total of £9.07 banked! Added to my siggy! :)

**Must stop procrastinating and spending time on MSE and finish my assignment! :)**

AlwaysHappy - my heart goes out to you at the very sad news of your dear Mum, I'm so pleased you were able to be with her when she passed away, it make s such a difference. I'd love to give you comforting hugs, but as I can't I'll send up prayers for you and give you these {{{hugs}}} instead. My thoughts also are for your DS, bless him. Sincere condolences AlwaysHappy, we'll see you just as soon as you're ready, meanwhile, take care of yourself and cherish all the beautiful memories she will have given you over the years. Hold her in your heart and she will always be with you. :)

That was a real bargain you had at Wetherspoons, Lynsey. All the best with the £10er needed, you'll get there! ;)

I'm so pleased you had a lovely time, scotmumof3. I'm feeling very much better now thank you, well enough for your soup today!! What a job to get the noodles without a flavour, but we made it in the end!

Don't worry, jakes-mum, I believe anything you tell me, though what a shame your dear Mum hadn't broken that bally mold sooner!!!! :rotfl:

Potted £50 today. :D Woo hoo! This is half of the profit from my !bay selling. Payments came through immediately which was great and I have confirmation that the goods arrived. The rest of the money will stay in my bank.

I have been potting a little here and there as well, when I have change so still managing to keep up with the challenge. It will be great when we open up our pots. I'm excited already!

Brilliant selling and potting, chickadee!!! Good luck with the ATM cash. It's so good to hear how thrilled you are in saving with us. :D

All the best on losing some weight, 32b3, you should do if you keep THAT many paces up! I do around 10000 most days. Still, if nowt else it keeps us active and healthy. :j

Keep up that sort of saving, Hoipolloi, and you'll be one happy lady in November.

Well done on cutting out Dr P!pper, Helen, you're wise in cutting down on treats - have you seen the amount of fat in m!ltesers?!!!!!!! Well done on being careful. I'm thinking of you as it gets closer to Thursday and whenever you think of it, push it out of your mind and think instead about something you want to do in the future or some lovely memory from the past, it used to help me when I gave up fags 16 years ago. BTW, I'm feeling much better now thanks.

Well done, Donna, a smashing amount saved.

Ahhh, well done your OH, Chutney, I hope you're soon feeling better about work.

£30 gone in for me today, I sold some tiles and my old coffee machine on FB. I am going to keep going now as I trying to de clutter

That's fantastic, the.new.me!! :j We'll look forward to seeing more good sums as you de-clutter.

Many thanks, Modesty, I'm back to normal now...or what passes for it. I hope you're okish too.

Good work with getting that 0% balance transfer, tizzi, all the best with paying your CC off now without all the interest that would have gone with it.
A good move, Frogletina....good savings too.

You're moving at a great rate so far, ETO, good for you and long may it last!! :j

Good to hear about your refund, Lucy! I shouldn't concern yourself too much about treating yourself to the book for your PC kindle app as 19p is hardly going to break the bank! BTW, now get on with that assignment!! :naughty:

Ah, there you are, benten, good to see you haven't lost the savings habit.

Have a good and happy Monday, Potters! Keep warm ALL and do please STAY SAFE!!!

    Sue x
