  • Are sure it was beef and not horse ( maybe that it was why it was so cheap)
  • Ahem,

Perhaps I should of mentioned my wife and myself run a homeless half way home, we are a charity and were paying out of our own pocket for this meat to feed the not so lucky people as ourselves, while it seems greedy to some, it is darn right outrageous to me that a store does not have staff that understand it's own policy's , smart price yeh right well done asda ,
That 6 pieces was cooked and we fed 49 a good stew and roast beef dinner, if we had the other 2 pieces of beef we could of fed at least another 20 I reakon,

We also have a walk in centre that we would like to have a kitchen put in but are struggling with the local council.

I am always looking for cheap food to look after those with nothing, we saw some very happy people over the last few days, as for being banned I have been back in the store and they have been very kind to us since they met the people we help.

I did not want to have to explain what I do here but feel the need after reading so many derogatory comments,
Maybe one day you will be hungry and another person will help you with a bed and a meal, until then you will never understand the depth of joy that the beef brang.

As long as asda are doing the deal we are buying daily and feeding some needy.
    God bless

Strange that you didn't mention this in the supermarket at the time though...
  • Why is it strange? What difference should it make? Protocol is that the whole point of the rave and rant was the rudeness of the checkout , no one gave me a chance and I don't think it should be made known what we do with the food it was not the point at all

However since the altercation some of the people we help visited the local asda , I am sure there was enough guilt felt by staff,

Like I say the whole point was that the staff did not know what the protocol was..... 1 person is a customer , each and every adult individual is a customer ,,, that was the point
    Goodnight

Any reasonable person would have explained at the time. What is the name of this charity?

Got it! Send each of them to pick up six joints each... might be an idea to tell them to go to different tills, eh? ;)
