Probably for the best, eh?
Well perhaps...........but it is certainly the best option for the OP who will likely never bother with MSE again, although I suspect somewhat disappointing for the trolls who frequent these boards unabated who will have to dish out their poison to some other poor soul.
There are quite a few very valuable contributors who no longer offer their professional advice anymore due to the nastiness dished out by some on these boards - which is a shame.0 -

A lot people come here posting ridiculous questions and then get all arsey when people don't agree with them. Some of them then get abusive to the people that have given the opposing view (in most cases factually and to the point). Or start making up more nonsense.
Simple fact is that if you're going to act like an idiot, you're going to attract a similar behaviour in the replies given. There are plenty of ways for people to deal with behaviour they find unacceptable - use the report button, block the user or simply don't read it. If they really can't deal with it in any of those ways then they are probably far too sensitive to be on such a large, extremely lightly moderated, public forum anyway.
And to be honest, people 'mollycoddling' them and making excuses on their behalf don't do them any favours at all.0 -

Odd isn't it, how people mention charitable motivations/disabled children/dying parents when they aren't getting the reaction they want ...0

As I said why aren't they using a wholesaler? They obviously have a lot to buy each day/week Asda is hardly going to be the cheapest place to source food for a business or charity.0 -

You've never worked in retail have you. These people actually exist.
My worst ever was a customer when the cashier pressed the wrong button and had to work out the change in her head said the hesitation was because she was going to steal it because she was black. It was no joke and he spent quarter of an hour in the shop demanding I phone the police.0 -
The joy that that beef 'brang' to the poor homeless witha stew AND roast beef dinner - haha, well done OP! 😄*Look for advice, not 'advise'*
