  • So if you hadn't argued with the cashier, or made a fuss. You could have went back round the store, picked up the meat, went through the self service and got the extra 2 packs of meat that you wanted. Whether it went against ASDA's restrictions or not....

I don't think Asda will be worried by your threat, especially when they see what other people think about your rant.

There's two ways to look at this situation, but on balance I think you overstepped the mark. it just smacks of " greedy ", then put bolshy into the mix and you've got yourself banned.
I don't know if you were bolshy, but that's how you've come across here.
In hindsight, you could have gracefully said , " oh ok" and left- you'd got your 6 (!) joints anyway.

You embarrassed yourself 100 times more if you sent that letter to Asda.

Going by this theory of yours a family of 2 parents and 6 children could buy 48 pieces of beef. You can kind of see why they made the decision they did.

But if they did, just think about the amount of meatballs that they could make.
They wouldn't have to go to Subway for a meatball sub ever again.

I don't think you've got the reaction you were expecting, have you?!

After sharing that shocking excuse for a letter, ASDA are certainly not the ones who look stupid!
