Can't declare yet but just booked a holiday for September and paid £100 deposit for the holiday cottage (remainder is due in August) and £90 for my Grandmother's flights; the holiday will be her 80th birthday present. Taking her to the Lake District for a week!
Probably coming in between £1280 and £1350 this month (got to do a last food shop on 27th and may go to London for a day on 28th) , will declare next week!0 -

Hi, I didn't save anything in January! I bought a much needed laptop and then my clothes for the year in the sales. But this month looks to be £600. Next month should be a lot higher as there won't be any more hangover from january!
Well done to everyone's savings so far0 -

Can I ask that, for the purposes of updating the spreadsheet, can everyone just do a total number for the month? It's a bit frustrating when there are multiple updates from members adding bits and pieces onto the form. By all means, do that in the threadbut when doing your final number for the month, I just need the total
Thank you!
Hi slowlyfading,
I'm a bit confused about this, as I thought you updated the spreadsheet depending on what we'd written on here? I write a year to date total so to find the monthly amount just deduct my current year to date total from the previous months, or have I missed something?2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -

What she means is..
Use the thread however you please to post about certain parts of your monthly savings, but when it comes to submitting the forms, wait until your months saving is complete and submit one form for that month for updating the spreadsheet. Am I wrong?Goal is to Retire before I'm 40 (currently 30yo)0
