Im away with the brownies from next weekend so wont be around to submit my October total, as the last few regular savers are due to do their thing tomorrow I am going to declare now....

    £1192 for October :-)

    Total so far £11272.00

I have had a few switching incentives paid this month and got paid for a few mystery shops, and I have some money pending in Quidco and TCB so they may pay out before the end of the year...

Hope all is well with all.

Hope everyone is doing well, sorry I haven't managed to keep up to date but just submitted my numbers and update my siggy for August and September.

After a few years at this my savings account is looking really quite healthy, so I have been swatting up on the where to from here in terms of diversification and improving my returns, so have taken a bit of a punt and made the first step towards being a real investor and put £500 into Exchange Traded Funds. :T

Good to see so many people doing so well :)

    Good job all!
  • I saved 2 grand gross this month  as I was owed back pay. However that was before allowing for my dental implant, forward funding a weekend away and my niece's 21st. My S&S ISA is still worth less than I paid in, and there's a big dent in savings after getting new carpets and redecorating.

So my total savings this year are still less than on the spreadsheet, but next month I should have made it up. I don't think I'll hit my amended target this year, but intend making the deficit up in 2016, touch wood.

Thanks Slowlyfading for keeping us all on the straight and narrow, especially now you have other lovely commitments! It's is much appreciated.

No 207 recording £711.63 for October bringing my total to £10,919.87. (Car service, tyres and a new laptop for husband's birthday this month really brought the sum down.) Sadly, unless I get a really good Christmas bonus I'm not going to make my target... Oh well, it was only target after all.

    £901.43 declared for October.

An odd amount as its the first month I've been Tilly Tiding small amounts everyday from my current account and moving it across to savings. This gave me an extra £34.43 overall. Definitely going to keep doing this! Should hit my yearly target by the end of November :)
