No#184 declaring £2521 for October.
We're now looking for our long term house, so putting every penny towards the deposit.
Thanks

No. 22 here declaring £1,958.09 for October. This despite my car failing its MOT and needing a bit of work. I am kicking myself for all the money I must have been wasting all these years! I never knew I had it in me to save money properly like this. I had another good month on eBay/Amazon, which helped.0

Reporting £2219.57 for October, despite paying for the annual car MOT and service, so happy with that. Great to see so many people staying the course at this stage in the year - not far to go now!Save 12k in 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021-2022 - then early-retired.0

Adding £300 to my October amount from my sealed saving pot, which I opened today. This leaves only £20 to reach my target for this year :j

End of the month update. I've managed £1,682.96 for October which takes me to 83.6% of my target for 83.3% of the year. I'm very pleased with how it's going and that I'm still on target!
Well done again everyone, fantastic work. Together we've collectively saved approaching £1.2million!
Should we start taking guesses for the end-of-year total?0 -

I totally agree. I wish that I could go back and talk to younger self. All those unnecessary spends on books, videos, DVDs, and 'stuff' that I have since sold, all that saving that I could have done between the ages of 18-24. (I went to uni at 24 and came out debt free - 4 years later but had to work hard when not studying). I was more focused after uni due to house buying, but there was still room for improvement, which could have made a difference to my savings pot.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons
