No 207 reporting for duty Ma'am! £800 and link updated. Not as good as I would have liked but had to tax my 4wd to lend to a friend.“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

Pay day today.
Honeymoon credit card bill settled before any interest due
Money transferred to regular savers and can declare £1220 for August (this actually includes £450 that I'd transferred at the end of July before we went away but I'd forgotten to log on my app). Was a nice surprise when I found extra savings I hadn't accounted for!
My only issue now is that I'm out of sync with regular saving payments. I used to pay everything on 1st month to maximise interest but due to spending for the wedding I've had to wait for pay day and get them in on 25th of the month. On one hand I'm grateful I haven't missed any payments but need to try and find a way to get them back to 1st of the month ASAP.0 -
Reporting £568.81 for August, best month for a while! I was helped by paying the dreaded car insurance on a credit card (no charge!) so I can spread the cost a bit more. This puts me to £2405.43 / £6000 for the year, or 40%. I don't think I will meet my target (damn you, new boiler) but I'm not changing it as that is admitting defeat0

My payday yesterday and just got OH payslip for his pay tomorrow so worked out our savings etc etc. With just a few days left of August our total income for the month was £3536.20 and there will be a further £51 on Friday for interest on one of our Santander 123 accounts so approx. £3586. Expenditure not including savings is £2245 so will be saving my target of £1000 and putting £340 into our cash reserve account. Signature and update form done.
We are in Crete for the first two weeks of September so not sure how savings will go for next month. Hope everyone else meeting their target still. Neither can I enthusiastic saver. I'm most likely not going to make my target this year (depending on my Christmas bonus) but hey ho, I've filled my ISA and from now on it's into my general savings for a start at getting the pot ready for next year's. The rise from £5k to £15 took me a bit by surprise.“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

£720 for August, nothing special although pretty pleased as I lose earning potential during august. so to still make an "average" saving contribution is pleasing.
Thanks SF for your time in tracking everbody's progress and thanks everyone who keeps updating their forms - it is something to look forward to and i enjoy reading peoples progress.Earn, Save and Achieve0
