Morning all. I really need to find my GUAG today. I am so lazy, having already decided I'm not going shopping. So far, I have listed two items on eBay, had breakfast and watered the houseplants.

    My list for today:
    Wash up
    Feed dogs
    Gym
    Bath
    Walk Dogs
Sort out recycling and rubbish ready for collection tomorrow
    Bath Dogs
    Hoover and mop through house

This list is a minimum so I suppose I'd better get moving. On the surface the house looks tidy, but just don't go opening ANY cupboards.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning

Hugs all round, sorry for missing, but work very very busy, so tired, just haven't had the energy to consider making a post.

But all is well here, daily stuff is up to date, just, no food in fridge as such, currently as I went to make my lunch, 3 eggs, 1/2 tub marg, 2 yogurts, and a small amount of cheese. Owing to the lack of food, I did clean the fridge out and it didn't take long :)

Best try and do a shop on Monday if I get chance.

    Have a good day

  • Morning - thought I had posted - but obviously not!!!

Just put a load of bedding on to wash and am about to start dusting. ( hate dusting!) Then it's the bathroom then weeding front garden.
After lunch I'll do the kitchen as DH is in the back garden and need to wait until he's finished.

Luckily it is sunny here but v cold.

Hope you are all as OK as can be - have a good day. x

  • Just wrote a huge post and lost it!
Good morning all. Been busy all week but not to list as my washer and boiler packed up (or so I thought) So utility room was cleared ready for repairs. Washer man wasn't coming for a week and I already had a mountain of washing, so ordered a cheap washer (we have said so many times we could do with 2) Then DH looked at the washer and found the bobble wrapped around the fan and the hospital band and earring in the filter. So I can cancel washer repairman and I have 2 washers:o

On a plus side my bins are going out completely full this week (some of that due to green bins not being emptied over winter and food waste now going in normal rubbish bins) not that I can tell or find the space that all the rubbish came from.

DH doing a Christmas fair today. Going to take the kiddies later but better go get cleaned up before we go.

I'm very grateful for all mothers who teach their sons not to be smelly in their personal habits. I'm currently de-niffing a bedroom YET AGAIN for immediate re-occupation - the underblanket, duvet and pillows will need washing AGAIN, as well as the mattress needing copious amounts of bicarb and a bowl of vinegar absorbing the aroma. He was only in there for a week.

I knew it would probably need it because whenever he moved around the house the stink of his aftershave lingered in the air for quite a while after he'd left the house. Until this year this has never been a problem (other than one bloke years ago) but I now have to tackle this on a regular and monotonously frequent basis.

He was a particularly joyless individual, too. The niffy ones always are - and frankly aren't worth the money.
    Better is good enough.
