DS2's game was cancelled, after we arrived, so I made him wait in the cafe at the shops whilst I got the bits I needed most today, few more Christmas bits got and an idea for DS3 - running it past DH.

Need to go and put a few bits away and then wash the bathroom floor. need to head out in plenty of time to get DS3 as traffic will be heay, I've now got a 8p off fuel coupon so I'll take my car which is empty and fill up enroute.

Aww, mrs mp congratulations, again (not about your fence, lol)

Kiddies are out at swimming with inlaws so I've just whizzed round downstairs - tidied and vacced LR, emptied DW, reloaded early dinner bits, set WM on an empty hot wash, wiped all counters and cupboard fronts and vacced out in the hallway.
    Phew!
I'm now watching last weekends strictly and whizzing through the boring bits. Kiddies will be home wanting supper any minute.

Work is still mad but I've switched off for the week one, unless the urge really takes me to get ahead for next week. But definitely not tonight!

Have had quite a productive flying day.

    Bedroom done today.
    Dailies done.
Living room floor swept and washed.
    Towels washed and on dryer.

Then it was off to SW and visited friends for a cuppa.

    DS3 collected
    Dinner cooked and eaten

Going to do a bit of ironing next.

Slightly more positive news on Mum, the scan has shown no signs of the cancer spreading. They just now need to see if it is safe to operate with her heart condition.

Still unable to get darn car started so have called out the RAC. They will be here shortly.
I rang the builder, couldn't get through so have text him and said to go ahead ASAP.
Banking got done. Very difficult to pay money into a cash point when you have a dog pulling your hand every which way!
Beds are made. Not DD's, she brought me 5 loads of washing downstairs so I'm too busy doing that to feel inclined to make her bed for her.
Hope to get some wrapping done tonight.
Dusty, glad there was more positive news for your Mum tonight.

  • good news that its not spread dusty,
re heart prob i dont know your mums situation but mil hadnt got a discovered heart prob but she was always very short of breath and barely walks 50 yds (she gets breathless getting up to answer the door) anyway before the first op she had to have a load of tests to make sure she wa healthy for surgery - an irregular heart beat was discovered that causes the breathlessness. they had her in for a week to stabilize her with meds and did the op under epidural to minimise the risk. so if they can operate they will.

    Bathroom
    Kitchen floor
DC bedding (one colour, one white)

dusty - good news about your mum. Fingers crossed they can operate.

Mrs MP- Fencing looks fab! Scan photo takes me back, its lovely.

Elastic - Totally agree re. charity shop prices but then I guess their shop rates etc have gone up? Could be the reason.

Kaz - Working vibes being sent to your car.

Hope everyone is well and have had lovely days. :) x

Oh that's a relief dusty I hope they can go ahead with a treatment plan quickly for her x

Not much else done here. Kiddies sent to bed, oh they have been monsters this week. Even doting granny and gramps had enough of their nonsense! DD was exhausted - she was sneaking around beds last night and then what with swimming and all, she was just beyond herself. DS was hungry which was making him be a pest, mostly to DD, who was in whine mode, lol.

So after that I had a bit of supper and wrote a list for tomorrow. After the paid stuff whirlwind I feel a bit buzzed out and can't think what needs doing.

Following that, I've had a shower, had a brew and filed my nails. My pretty "queen Elsa" manicure has come off. One nail is torn so I think just a clear one next until it grows back a bit.

    Right. Must dry hair.
