2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
No - if less than £9.99 it still needs authorising too on SS or main tills, but if over £9.98 they have to physically enter the amount too, which means they are looking at the voucher/receipt a little longer and gives them more time to see what you bought/how much you spent and then start questioning.

Thank you Anon I understand it now0 -
Just to add - from the comments above £9.98 seems to be the max that will scan through as £9.99 prompts the price prompt if I have understood correctly.
I have had a couple of £10+ A P Gs from legitimate (non-glitch) spends over the past month - what I have done a couple of times is add in a £20 or so (barcode scannable not swipe card) A gift card with a larger shop, then give them the A P G vouchers ... and paid any remaining amount with one of my other A giftcards. In theory it shouldn't work as you are not supposed to be able to pay for giftcards with giftcards or APG - but it didn't seem to present a problem (I think if you just tried buying giftcards the till would throw a wobble). Obviously CS dependent and I see how they are checking the receipts before adding in a couple more or signing off
.
My other top tip for today is if you have been getting the A giftcards from HSV I have been having no end of problems with them not scanning on any till and the CS having to type them in. In some stores/with some staff I have managed to get them to transfer the balance onto a new A giftcard at the CS desk (not all stores - some say that HO say you are not allowed). Check the A giftcards and there are some newer ones now that have a barcode scan rather than the magnetic swipe - transfer onto those and they seem to scan easily (barring the till last night where I had to pay real money again due to the till not accepting either type of giftcard - very annoying when I have hundreds of pounds on blinking giftcards )
AnonI dont do apg that often :rotfl: and not that close to £10

Wendyak, so sorry for your loss.
Re quidco bonus 12 gifts for £100.
I've done 16 different shops, but only 11 have tracked, although I've put in claims for the others.
Non tracked:
BHS
B&Q
Photobox
Lego
The book people
Tracked:
Groupon
Topman
Matalan
notonthehighstreet
feelunique
m&s
Burtons
body shop
Moonpig
homebase
the works
Its says I have got my bonus, but can i be sure?
Mite do a boots one to make it 12 tracked, but each time i do that it doesnt track, like photobox and lego. Groupon and Topman appeared as tracked within minutes today.
Hi I don't think you can be sure until they ve all paid out. Don't think it's enough just for them to track. I had problems with Dunelm the pests. When I chatted to Quidco they said I could always do another shop to make sure but that's not the point.0 -

apologies, I've edited my post now.. I think it was when you asked for [1] cosmetics matching certain barcodes that led me to that conclusion.
Unless you're pulling my leg that is :rotfl:, there is a [2] fair amount of innuendo in your post :T
[1] :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
[2] Reading things into things again and finding a hidden meaning when there wasn't any!
No need to apologise (but apology accepted nonetheless) - I've been called worse in the past:rotfl:.0 -
