Just seen this on the other side.
Pringles Cheese & Onion 190G £1.00 at TESCO

Better Than Half Price Was £2.48 Now £1.00. Offer valid from 10/12/12

Rubbish offer - avoid:rotfl:. Come on T, better than half price is very poor indeed, are you going to match better than free?:D

I knew this would be on "hotdeals", even before I clicked the link. Can't even get the validity date the offer starts on right (sigh).

But -:naughty: we've just been comparing to truthful, real, previous price of £1.24, so where's this "Was £2.48" coming from?

Ah. That does make sense, as a £9.99 one would presumably have the same barcode - with "999" in it - as any of £10.00 or over. I've never had an exact £9.99 one before though so I've no idea:rotfl::rotfl:.

    Therefore:

Change my own understanding. It's now £9.99 and over, not £10.00 and over contrary to what I previously understood.

Many thanks for that oh so minor, but crucially important:D (okay maybe not), detail:T. At least if I do get a £9.99, I won't now be taken aback slightly that it gives a prompt for the amount.:)

EDIT: There's no sarcasm in this post, intended or otherwise, btw. It may indeed be quite important, even if seemingly minor, as I've now aware of the possible delay to using a £9.99 voucher. Although, for most purposes, probably not important at all.

I too would like to know this, as above £9.99 (or £9.98) have a different b/c prefix to below/equal.

    991961 val val x
    991842 226 999 x (x is checksum)

    Gives 1001 different b/c combinations.

Edit: I'm thinking 'laziest' system for A would be 999 in any moc - so reckon that's what they do :rotfl:

You are indeed correct, I hadn't even looked at the other numbers - so it may be that £9.99 is the max on their till/voucher system without the price prompt as elsewhere in the barcode (991842 226 999) is instructing it to price prompt.

That said ... when we are getting the DTD on meat at Mr T, we are getting it precisely because the expensive price is embedded in the barcode, so technically they "could" include £10+ price in there if they wanted to/set their system up slightly differently :). Perhaps they have set it this way precisely because it then prompts the CS to do another check above £9.99 ...?

eVouchers all seem in for me too, strange though as I had 13 vouchers expiring 30 Dec, now I only have 3 expiring 30 Dec - total looks about right so will look again after dinner.

Good evening. Just wanted to send wendyak my condolences xxxx

I completely forgot about some online A vouchers and they expire today. The earliest I can now get a HD is tomorrow.

Have I lost them or will they still work if I place my order now?

    Thanks
    SFSB

Hi there, yes I've done this before and it was fine I only had £15 of vouchers so had to do £10 normal shopping and I ordered clothing for the rest which I usually pop back without a receipt I haven't had any problems with exchanging for a gift card.
Only thing was I didn't remember until around 10pm on the day they expired and a couple of small ones disappeared while I was ordering!! So I wouldn't dither too long xx

Try at own risk... but put an order in for whenever, amend the order and you should be able to remove the vouchers along with their shiny new dates, then cancel the order.

I think cancelling without amending does the same, but I like to see the vouchers go back before cancelling.

Cancelling worked for me with a £1 test as noticed the new dates when I legitimately amended an order.

Thanks for this I've had this suggested before and wasn't quite sure how it worked.

Nearly ready. DD's are done and just need to wrap DD2 presents. Have wrapped DD1 prezzies today and hidden them in DS bathroom. (just need to hope meter reader doesn't turn up between now and xmas as all prezzies are stacked in front of the gas meter door).:rotfl:
Have to order DS a new graphics card for his pc, he is putting a lot of money towards it but it is still between £250 and £300 and no cashback  Keep putting that off for some reason, maybe hoping he might change his mind, don't think he will though. :(

Best go and get some lunch before picking DD2 up from pottery club, last one tonight and she really loved it, shame it was only for 6 weeks, they will be doing it for the other classes in the new year, so don't know when she can do it again.
how much???:eek::eek::eek: you may have to move your presents as they came to read our meters yesterday :rotfl:

ds2 & 3 seem to want mainly ps4 & 3ds games so still looking for the best prices on some of those :o plus need to get a ps4 controller & they are ridiculously expensive at over £50 most places  cheapest i can find is £35 at rakutken after the £10 off code :o

Thank you - just tried this as I had a few vouchers expiring over the next week and it does as you say update the date :).

    Many thanks

Advice please. I cooked for 40 last week. Had a spare COOKED turkey in freezer now. Is it ok to defrost and heat up? Tia x

Good evening just catching up don't know if answered but yes the turkey will be fine as long as you heat it until piping hot or defrost and eat cold
To save it drying out I would slice the breasts ( calm down boys I'm talking about turkey :p) and cook in gravy and use the legs for curry or something else with a sauce hth
