T&C's say £10 off a £30 spend.. boo. but you may be able to stack codes as the free delivery is also working with 10% off.

Logging off, I'm washing the cups before i leave work :D. Think I'm going to the gym tonight, then out for dinner with the girls. Booked a fab japanese tepanyaki/sushi place for dinner at 8pm. Back tomorrow xx

WENDYAK - so sorry to hear about your loss.

QOC - hope you manage to get your coat sorted.

Went to use an APG voucher with the JF today. Got trouted big style. I was accused of fraud and for printing out vouchers more than once because someone else who uses my store has been doing it and they had a voucher for £12+ too. !!!!!!! Made me stand there near CS for over half an hour. I thought I was going to get arrested. I was proper bricking it. A manager was called who eventually OK'd it and let me go.

How do you guys manage to use big APG's without drama? :(:(:(

Online CC/HD or I try to keep under £10 unless I'm also buying booze or something more believable to be on offer elsewhere!

I do wonder about some of the pringle APGs, £11 back on a £10 spend.. I think Savvy bought just 8 tubes for maximum efficiency  or perhaps he edited ;)

The potential for a trouting is always there.. it's part of the game ;)

For the quidco bonus I used Moonpig, I already had credit there so it didnt actually cost me any cash, I sent the 4 grandkids cards and added an extra one so I got the 5 for 1/2 price, and it tracked no problem at the full price.
£1.49 hot wheels car from Halfords. free del to store
Xmas card for £2 from Notonthehighstreet. Free postage
Something? from the Works for £2.50
Matalan 3 4 2 on frozen wrapping paper £4.00 free del to store

£455 is my total spend through Quidco, but that includes GHDs, a fridge and an air fryer, plus lots of Xmas presents.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

    Hi,
OH has just been trouted in this store with a large but legit APG.
They refused to take it as the said its faulty. They said the amount back should show in the barcode, from what I know anything over £9:99 doesn't show on barcode, is this true?

ALL vouchers of £10.00 and over show 999 in the barcode. They just need to enter the voucher amount. I'd be complaining to HO about this store's refusal to accept the APG voucher if it's legit. Should expect at least an additional GC to compensate for the inconvenience/embarassment/annoyance.

Try and keep APGs under a tenner, try to avoid APGs higher than spend, when they query, try not to laugh.
If you arent fiddling, wait out the inquisition, and be polite.
You (we) are far more knowledgeable than AS DA staff about their system, if they delay you a second time, point out to them you think you are being harassed and ask them for the phone number of head office.

See there has been a few troutings recently

Put yourself in sa shoes someone turns up with a voucher having spent £12 and have a £13 voucher from it would you not think it was dodgy ;);)
Especially if others have been using fake ones in their store and no doubt all be warned about accepting them from their managers

They are only doing a job folks ;)

If you go over £9.99 we all know they need to be input manually therefore making an already nervous sa even more wary ;)

Correct, above £9.99 the value cannot be encoded into the apg barcode so they have to manually enter it.

It's "he":rotfl::rotfl:. I have a favourite SA who deals with big ones all the time, and will just take this, never had any problems as they always expect me to bring a 'big' one in.

I did get trouted once. An SA said I'd used the voucher before, simply because the amount looked similar! I remembered the amounts of both vouchers! No [you idiot], this one is for £3.78 the previous one was for £3.42, so get your facts right first! Of course, I didn't say any of that. (I think I just cancelled the shop and later bought what I wanted in a different store.) I did have my original marked receipt from the previous voucher used, with their marking, so couldn't easily have proven them to be wrong should it have been required! Audit trail(:rotfl:). Those aren't the actual amounts, I don't remember what they were now! They were something of that order though. It's always the smaller ones that lead to troutings in my stores:rotfl::rotfl:. To be fair, As are pretty good and this was only a few years into the APG - as time has gone on, they are dealing with them all the time and now used to doing so.
