Oh my goodness she would freak if something actually moved,so I think theres no chance of anything live being bought in...the biggest she can cope with is a moth.
Ds1 was telling her last night to go find a turkey and some ham.
She seems really pleased with her haul...she has laid it out in the dining room and if we move it she puts it back in a similar order.
Aww bless. :A0 -
Good morning everyone,
I have been reading posts above Christmas and families, Evangeline1971 has hit the nail on the head
"To anyone who is lucky enough to have good family who care, you should treasure every moment because you just never know how long you have left with those people. Don't take them for granted."
A few weeks ago two youngs boys were murdered by their father in a house fire, in Sheffield where I used to live. Their mother Claire writes on a Facebook page (Pray for Jack) which I follow, which is deeply moving, her words
" So everyone try not to frazzled about serving the perfect meal, it's only perfect if you have the people most precious to your sharing it with you even if its beans on toast"0 -
Thinking out loud here have the boys forgotten it is their turn to organise the Elite calendar this year.
They best get a move on.
Was thinking David. could use the pic of his little man.And DM could treat us to his Christmas jumper?

This is from a couple years ago. I haven't put it up yet this year, I'll do it later if I have time otherwise it will be weekend. I have more decorations than this photo now so will post an updated picture when it's done
I know some people prefer fewer decorations so it may not be to everyone's taste but I love it
Looks fabulous, I can see why you are so proud of it!!! I'm looking forward to seeing the 2014 version!
Thanks for posting!
Also; thanks for all the info re showing/ not showing multis at Asda, although there's nothing extra special this week you have taken a lot of time doing this and in up n coming weeks hopefully it'll provide something lovely! X0 -
Morning all.
Hope everyone is well.
Just received my Levi's jeans that I ordered on Black Friday. Got £10 back via Quidco too on top of 30% off, so well chuffed. Almost half price. Woohoo.
What's happening? Is BUBBS still being fancy and bootylicious?0 -
Morning
I couldn't get the autumn club code to work on t direct, said it was linked to another account - someone else said they had the same problem (fc?). Have emailed so will hopefully get another code to use
Hugs to all struggling with Christmas plans, sometimes it's so difficult trying to please everyone (and sometimes so difficult to try and get someone to please you) x
That's a great tree Evangeline
I used to enjoy working on Christmas day as a waitress - everyone was in good spirits, nobody complained and although it was quite hectic, if you had a few moments to stand about drinking a bucks fizz and eating biscuits, nobody batted an eyelid (and the tips were brilliant)

IMPULSE SECRET SMILE NOW SHOWING ON MSM
Can I safely reject this plus the Sanex on my afternoon CC ? It will possibly bring me below the 8 item thing if I do reject. Advice would be much appreciated.ELITE 5:2

very happy with my broadband deal for another year.
I know there are some good deals out there like the one mse recommended which gives a £100 amazon voucher (EE).
but I wanted to stay with Tesco because of the uk based call centre.
I also wanted anytime calls at a good rate.
so I phoned up already thinking ill renew with Tesco anyway as its the price I wanted to pay. £15.40 LR + £5 anytime calls. broadband is free to mobile or bank customers.
I would have took this anyway but thought id chance it by mentioning the EE offer. I was told they are sorry but im already on the best deal but he was kind enough to put 1000 points into my cc account. not a lot I know but I was staying anyway.
so what im saying is if your with Tesco and don't want to move, ask is there any incentive with cc points to make you stay. (every little helps)0
