    Good afternoon all...

For once I have avoided the large retailers,I have not got involved in any BF purchasing....but instead this morning spent a lovely time shopping in the local independant traders of a local towm.
I have all but done my christmas shopping for friends and family and apart from adding some money or gift vouchers to a couple of the pressies for my god children,I think the majority of present shopping was completed in 4 hours this morning.

I'm still waiting on my 2 poppies,it would be lovely to box them up for christmas but its looking like those presents might not be arriving until the new year.

Off to read back so hugs in advance if you need one...

I was quite late in deciding that I wanted 2 but did get confirmation of the orders....I've not had any follow up yet to say they have been sent...

I'm just getting a bit impatient...I see a few have posted pics here and some of my FB friends have posted pics too...they look really well presented...I just want to see mine in the flesh, before I gift them on to 2 very special and lovely people in the family.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Afternoon all :)

My Christmas treat arrived from Selfridges today (present from the parentals so I can't have it now :() and I know the postage costs seem high but the delivery was so speedy, they sent me texts the entire time to let me know what was happening and the packaging was super cute.

Big recommendation. I seem to remember the last time I bought something there (few years ago now) it was just as good.

I still remember the first time he fetched her here and told me she was sleeping in same bed  and I couldn't say anything because folk sleep in same beds on big bro :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Well, I got the scanner/printer from Argos. Canon Pixma MG5550. Supposedly half price, in reality £10 cheaper than anywhere else, and I had £25 worth of vouchers from survey companies. Bought it because we need a new scanner.
