I am resisting but can recommend their speedy delivery from the summer from the few pairs of shoes/boots I ordered.

I hate shoe shopping:( but have been looking today, its a very long time since I teetered in heels:rotfl: I want some that I can actually walk in which is a struggle when you look at the 4" plus heels in the shops. Found a pair I liked... Nothing spectacular but not sky scrapers ..I might actually be going on a Christmas night out:j it will be the first Christmas night out since I stopped working...9 years ago. How sad is that.... My wardrobe is all mummy fied now so don't know where to start outfit wise.... Then again I did say might be going on a night out... Probably wont happen:(

thanks for the best wishes with regard ds2 job application was on the desk at 4.50 am thanks to my dds lovely partner..

ds3 causing trouble today, they did a maths test and he got one question wrong, the teacher told them to correct the answers but he told the teacher that his answer was right and the teacher had worked it out wrong:eek: teacher very unhappy said it came from a test book checked it and insisted ds3 was wrong. but he still refused to alter his answer.. he was sent out of the room and accused of being disruptive . They phoned me and my first question was he rude. No was polite and apologized for pointing out teacher was wrong but he should have backed down and corrected his work.
Second question was he wrong, Teacher said so but no one else had checked. So I asked if they could check again. They phoned back he was right and the teacher was wrong, but still insist he should have done what he was told:eek::eek:. I in no uncertain terms told them if he was polite he has done nothing wrong and the teacher made a mistake and he should have the face to admit it and ds3 was not to be punished.. But deep down I wish he would learn to keep quiet I never realised having a bright child would be so much of a challenge :o:o:o:o:o

Your DS3 sounds like my DS he was always getting into trouble in class when in the infants/juniors. He used to blurt out the answer while teacher was still writing the question down I lost count the number of detentions he got . Parents night was I got told the same every year waste of time going

Happy to report my lunch meeting was a success. I have been offered some very exciting work :j it's a million miles from what I normally do and much less boring. But I'll be working with an ex-service organisation, which is where my interests lie, on a brand new project. Even better, I can use the work to feed back into what Im doing at uni. So iam very happy indeed

But more important than that......if anyone still wants cheap champers.....Ts Express are selling the £8 stuff too and there's 10% off WYB 3 bottles in expresses only. So £7.20 a bottle. Not to be sniffed at :beer:Im still on a buying ban
