Hope you remembered 7% TCB ;)

TCB was offering more than Quidco and I'm not doing that promotion thing with them so went with TCB.

I also got the Advent calendar from Ts autumn club. DS2 just picked it up, read the back and handed it to me saying 'Here mum I'll let you have this it's made from inferior chocolate' It's nice to be so loved :rotfl:

    Good Afternoon :)

Happy to report my lunch meeting was a success. I have been offered some very exciting work :j it's a million miles from what I normally do and much less boring. But I'll be working with an ex-service organisation, which is where my interests lie, on a brand new project. Even better, I can use the work to feed back into what Im doing at uni. So iam very happy indeed :D

But more important than that......if anyone still wants cheap champers.....Ts Express are selling the £8 stuff too and there's 10% off WYB 3 bottles in expresses only. So £7.20 a bottle. Not to be sniffed at :beer:Im still on a buying ban :(

Fab news :T Really pleased for you :D

Your DS3 sounds like my DS he was always getting into trouble in class when in the infants/juniors. He used to blurt out the answer while teacher was still writing the question down :D I lost count the number of detentions he got . Parents night was :o I got told the same every year waste of time going :D
sounds the same.:p we get told at parents evening he gets bored easy but he says he loves school work as long as it is challenging.
Bless, academically bright but not socially recognising the value of keeping schtum sp? My brother had a similar issue once at primary school. T told them that they had a certain amount of work to complete that week and when it was done they would be allowed to play with the lego (I think it was a bribe to get him to do anything as he was super lazy and she wanted him to work all week) anyway, he completed the work she set before the end of the day, handed it over and got the lego out! She called my mum :o as he refused to stop playing with the lego. When asked he calmly explained that she'd done all the woman had asked so she should leave him alone! Can'T fault his logic. Lol! The T then realised he was bright but lazy and didn'T make such promises again.:rotfl::rotfl:

When I was teaching I had a bright student and it was great fun playing beat the teacher with him as I had to work hard to keep up, rather than pretending it was tricky! :rotfl:

I'm with you though, he does need to follow rules but equally, if a mistake was made by the adult they should admit that too. Respect works better when earned and is mutual.

clever lad :rotfl: ds3 is never cocky but knows he is clever especially in maths, his older brother struggles and he helped with his college work, his attitude was I cant strip an engine and he cant do maths so when we are older I will do his accounts and he can mend my car ;)
