When do the Insurers check those databases?......
Depends on the insurer - some check when issuing the policy, others don't bother till a claim arises (which is worse - your claim will be rejected, and if a third party has to be paid out then although your insurer will deal with the third party they will then come to you to reimburse them)

Either way when you lie you risk having your policy cancelled when they discover your lie - meaning consequences in attempting to get cover in future.

If you can only afford third party cover now you will have to give up driving if you end up with a cancelled policy on your record!

I'm in my early 30's. 7 years protected NCB, 3 points on license
2 accidents. one at fault, the other none fault.
Due for renewal this feb. Last year with all of the same as above, it was £630 if i paid it in a lump sum.

That's the cost of being honest, declaring all modifications on the car and living in a high risk area. It's a lot of money but at the end of the day like the OP if i'm not happy with it i can just stop driving.
I just get on with it and don't whine.

You put your faith in statistics written up by the insurance companies that use it to justify increased premiums falsely. Man you need to wake up to reality seriously.
Um, this is exactly how insurance companies do work! Statistics!
For a non-fault accident like yourself for example, you could live in a really bad street where parked cars keep getting hit. That would push premiums up for your specific postcode.
You're placing a bet every year that you won't be involved in an accident. The insurance company gives you a price they're happy to take the risk at.
This isn't an insurance company judging your driving, it's pure statistics.
PS haven't a lot of insurance companies/divisions been making a loss because they're not charging us enough insurance?!

    Update:

One of the drivers of UK Assistance delivered my repaired car back this morning however during my inspection of the repair I was unsatisfied of the repair and took my phone out to take photos and soon as the driver seen me taking photos he quickly jumped in the car angrily and shouted got no time and drove my car off without me signing anything. I was shocked and like What the hell happened?

Rather suggests they knew damn well that the repair wasn't up to scratch (so to speak!) and were hoping you wouldn't notice.

Well done for taking the time to check, most people don't check.

You're lucky, garages have a habit of bringing cars back where the workmanship is "Not all that" during the hours of darkness so you can't spot the problems

Yeah but this checking caused my car to be stolen by them and I have to go to the UK assistance garage with a friend to fight my way to get my car back.
