What a simple request to speak to someone,I can't be asking for much,

To speak to someone about what? It isn't that you are asking too much, you aren't asking anything at all!

Yes BUT you are failing to state your reasons for wanting to speak to them.
Have you made it clear what you want to discuss?
You are being very vague in your questions on this forum

I know you can't get a company to terminate you unless you hand in your notice.
They have had letter after letter, including my medical,I do know the underlying problem,it's money and they don't want to pay out,so ignoring is there way of avoiding,
    Some may agree or not,

I would say the problem is they are not understanding what it is you want and what you are asking them for.
You have failed to answer any of the questions this morning of what you are wanting from them

A simple question - do you wish to continue in their employment or not?

That was not what I asked - do you wish to remain in employment, albeit off sick, or do you wish to leave/ have closure?

So the question you want them to answer then is:

You cannot return to work due to ill health, so are they going to pay you anything? e.g holiday pay, notice etc.

Have you actually told them you cannot return to work due to ill health? Sounds to me like you need to resign due to this fact?

Am I right in thinking, you have been off long term sick and they are now considering terminating your contract or are offering a voluntary redundancy?
