What is your oldest appliance still in use?

These days, most people switch mobile phones every year or two, and other household electrical items tend to have a short life as well. There is an argument that electrical items are no longer made to last (see e.g. this article in Gizmodo on "planned obsolesence").
Inspired by this, I decided to list some of the older electrical items I have that I am still using. It would be interesting to see what others have in their homes.
Please only list stuff you are actually using.
Thorens TD124 turntable, bought by dad 1961
Kenwood Chef, bought by mum 1964
Blaupunkt Derby h radio, bought by dad 1970
JVC UX-T1 mini stereo, bought 1990

I still use a food processor bought as a wedding present in 1986 and our stereo bought in about 1985."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

Mum still has a Kenwood (I think it's Kenwood anyway) electric carving knife I think she got as a wedding present 40 years ago..0

I've got a chest freezer in the garage that we bought 15 years ago, still going strong. Washing machine and tumble dryer are both 12 years old.0

Kenwood Chef bought 1970, now passed on to my daughter.
Husqvarna sewing machine bought 1970.
Electrolux fridge bought 1977.
We also have a Hoover kettle from 1969, but it is kept as a reserve now as it is not of the "auto switch off" type.0 -
A fanheater.
It's around 40 years old I think. Being made of metal, rather than plastic, it has one or two tiny bits of rusty type areas on it. Being made in a "different era", it has screws holding its bits together that I can manage to unscrew and clean out the inside myself when required.
I've also got a Hacker radio that I still use everyday and that is over 30 years old. It cost a LOT when I bought it, ie over £100 back then, but I figure I am getting my money's worth from it.0 -
My partner was given a slowcooker as a wedding present in 1980. The marriage only lasted 9 years but the cooker is still going strong and used on weekly basis.0

Small 14" Mitsubishi TV - it belonged to an elderly relative and I got it about 7 years ago, I'm guessing she had it about 10 years before.
Microwave - about 12/13 years old/
Radio - about 20 - 30 years old (and have a few of these!)
Sewing Machine a bit like this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-1960s-Working-Brother-Sewing-Machine-with-Instruction-Leaflet-/141474203761?pt=UK_CraftsCollect_SewingMachines_RL&hash=item20f0850871
Until the digital switchover, I had a black a white TV with a tuning knob instead of channel buttons, google suggests around 1972 TV, and I stopped using it in 2012 - so 37 years!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
We are still using a Zanussi tumble dryer that I won in a competition in 1994. It's out in the garage and has given me 20 years of loyal service. I don't expect I'll see the same from the next tumble dryer I get!
Two Panasonic portable stereos bought around 1990/91. Again one is stuck out in the garage for my OH to play some tunes when he's out tinkering with bits of electronics.
A Panasonic microwave bought in 1995. It has survived at least two occasions where I unsuccessfully tried to poach eggs and almost blew the door off!
My Mum still has, and uses, her Kenwood Chef bought in the mid-1970s.Norn Iron Club Member 330

Strangely, my oldest appliance is probably my Bluray player.
Oldest still in use, anyway.
Got lots of stored tech in the loft.0 -
I have a 27 year old electric knife, used weekly and still going and a Henry vacuum cleaner which is over 20 years old and bought when few people were buying them for domestic settings.0
