Mine came this week, put it towards my new iPad.

    Cue outrage.:

You still have to pay your energy bills, Penrhyn.

    Different pockets, eh?

I'd forgotten about the payment in fact.

November is a deadly month for white goods. Somehow their built-in obsolescence disproportionately triggers now - just ask the processors in Wolverhampton sifting budgeting loan claims.

I think I'll spend mine on gin and chocolate, and I'll have to use my gin and chocolate money to pay the gas bill!
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
  • It does not really matter what we spend it on...as said energy bills will be paid from somewhere. I am well in credit with energy provider but it will give me some peace of mind.
Still working and have defered my state pension..hope to retire in 2016, fingers crossed!!

I used mine to fly down to London for the day to see the poppies before they were all removed. Will never been seen again in my life time and very moving experience.

Did a bit of Christmas shopping in Covent Garden too :D
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)

Do you get a letter saying its been paid or do you just have to watch for it being paid into the bank?

DWP usually sends a letter to say it will be on its way within the next few weeks.
