You can make vegan shortbread using flour, oil, and sugar.

    These ones are quite nice.

    Thanks :)
I am just wondering what powdered sugar is. I am guessing icing sugar? If so, I'll make them this afternoon I think.
Also, instead of buying tea leaves, do you think I could cut open a tea bag and use that? I don't want to spend any money on tea leaves that I wont use again.

    Hello all,

I am sorting out a few life issues, nothing serious but mostly time consuming, so please forgive me for pulling out of all challenges for the time being, life is challenging enough as it is at the moment.

I might pop in and lurk, but don't worry for my absence.

If I don't post before the new year, a very merry Christmas and prosperous New Year to all of you, and best of luck with the challenges.
Best wishes to you Caterina, hope the sorting out goes well and successfully. x

Powdered sugar is icing sugar as you guessed.

The tealeaves from a tea bag will do but you will find them much dustier than proper tealeaves - empty the bag into a shallow dish and gently blow across the top to get rid the worst of the dust, which I think would help.
