Hi,
Mr T has just delivered and my £104.36 was reduced using coupons to £91.00. So a £13.36 saving. A massive shop, everything value range or massively reduced.
Am totally exhausted, my early start is catching up with me. Along with a very very depressing electricity bill arriving. Grim.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Went shopping after work yesterday and spent £25.43. That included some essentials, wine and flowers. I like to buy flowers each week for my dad's grave - I find the cemetery so peaceful on a Saturday morning, especially when it's frosty like today.
I think it might be touch and go whether I meet my target this month but it will be close either way. This is my first attempt though, so I won't be too harsh on myself
Plus, the lovely Mrs Planky is going away for a few days now so I can be really cheap with my meals! Jan GC - £25/£230
Dec GC - £239.05/£2400 -

I love it when OH is away (though hardly ever happens these days:() because I can live on value pasta without much else with it
whereas OH can't stand pasta in any shape or form regardless of whatever I add to it:eek:. I can save a fortune if I don't have to cater for him.0 -
Okay, checking in with a £4.56 spend this week.
£2.20 on 12 eggs, and £2.36 on a larger than my normal friday cooked breakfast (I suggested our whole team go up for a pre-christmas breakfast so had more than my usual toast and eggs)
£6.45 so far this month - and about enough space for a goose crown and whole duck from L!dl. Hoping to make it a whole goose by christmas. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Have just had a lovely lunch using some of the cauliflower I got for tomorrow and some left over cheese sauce. Made it in a balti dish and browned it under the grill. Lovely and really cheap.
