    Morning

Trying to get OH to not spend money is a nightmare. I got £20 worth of food shopping yesterday so there are lots of things in for him to eat, and he still wanted to go out for a meal (I refused of course). He now wants to go out for breakfast, but luckily I got some bacon yesterday, so will make him a sandwich.

Same here Emz, it's infuriating isnt it?! You're trying really hard, and they just sabotage it by buying rubbish! One of our airers broke, so OH went to replace it, and bought FOUR new ones!!!:eek:

    Four???? Madness!!!

My OH has today gone to see his parents. It's a 4 hour round trip and it always uses roughly £30-£40 worth of diesel - and he's going to be there for 3-4 hours before he has to leave to come home!! I wouldn't mind, but he was there for 4 days over the Christmas period, so it's not as if he hasn't seen them for ages.

Thanks Lou :) - it does seem promising. She just has to look over the hours available and sort something out.

  • Hey emz, if your oh saves you from a visit by his folks, I'd say it's money well spent.

My hours have been agreed in principle, but just need to be approved by the big boss. My two week rota will now look like this:

    Week 1:

    Sun - 11-5
    Mon - 2-8
    Tues - 4-8
    Weds - Off
    Thurs - 5-8
    Fri - Off
    Sat - Off

    Week 2:

    Sun - Off
    Mon - 2-8
    Tues - Off
    Weds - 5-8
    Thurs - 5-8
    Fri - Off
    Sat - 2-9

I'm happy with that :) - I've really missed going round my mum's on Sundays and seeing the kids, so I'm glad I'll get to go round there twice a month now (and get a roast dinner too ;)).

I'll soon have £25 to put towards debt #1:

£7 cheque from survey work banked
    £3 from Pinecone
    £5 from My Survey
    £5 from Swagbucks
    £5 from Prolific Academy

I'll pay it off once I get the cash.
