So, Labour represents the working men and women?
Who represents those in retirement?
Or those that provide care?
Or those that are students?
Or the NEETS?
Or the FI'ers?Goals

Aren't these people potentially of working class background?
Though I do agree the odds of them driving a white van are slim.0 -

If they do vote for UKIP they will be in for a rude awakening.0 -

Yes, but that doesn't mean that she was wrong. She was wrong to say it.Thrugelmir wrote: »I thought Labour represented the working man?
He said 'chavs' not 'working men'.
These are quite not the same, so please don't insult the working class.0 -

Guess you're right. Just a reflection of the culturally poor society we've become over recent years. Hardly surprising therefore that people wish to govern themselves more locally. If you can't trust Westminster then Brussels has no chance.0 -

UKIP offers scapegoats and simplistic solutions.
People like when things are simple, even when they are in fact not.
Does the candidate who doesn't make promises and explains things the way they are win? No. The winner is the one with the catchy slogan and the bold promises.
Are you struggling?
That's because there are too many immigrants, so if we kick them out and don't let them back everything will be better.
So simple, so easy. You are not at fault for the situation. You are a victim. The solution does not require you to do make any further effort.
Hey, that's good.
Same old for centuries of politics.0 -

I'm not interested in UKIP. I actually want to see the main parties have policies that will will actually of benefit to the UK. Not pander to the Unions nor the Bankers. Nor purely be about getting elected. Politics shouldn't be a career. It should be something you do after having a career. Where people with a wardrobe of teeshirts gained from real life experiences. Have an objective and constructive view. Not a fantasy one based on their personal dreams.0
