    YAY!!!
1 payout a couple of weeks ago then
    3 payouts yesterday and
3 payouts today - these were a few days earlier than expected

    7 in total = £1050

Just want to say thanks for the advice on this thread. This has been an interesting experience and no........I don't feel guilty LOL

I feel sorry for my friends and work collegues who said this would be too much hassle and that I was daft to expect any money. I would have helped them switch but they weren't interested!!

Martin's Money Tips got it wrong - you only need to pay in £1000 once, not monthly.

You can also answer just about any source to telephone application questions about how to fund the account, - in practice there is no need to fund it regularly from any source once it's up and running.

I added two minor monthly direct debits to a little used current account in another bank and switched to the Clydesdale and credited £1000 from my main bank.

Got the £150 "bribe" within about 3 weeks - withdrew the grand back to my main account with no dramas.

Anyone get a call from CB when switching one if these accounts away. One of my (only :-() 2 is heading to co-op and on the day the switch started, I missed a call from a number which Google says belongs the Clydesdale

I am switching one away on 28th April, when switching other acs I have usually received a letter from the bank I am leaving informing me of the switch and asking if I was aware of it, haven't had a phone call in relation to switching, has always been a letter, I think it is common practice for them to confirm.

  • Yes I also got a call just after my switch to co-op started!

I mad the mistake of answering the call but the caller gave me a get-out option by asking if it was a convenient time for me talk. I said no and asked if they would mind calling back in half an hour!

Not received any phone call from Yorkshire about my switch to Nationwide. Just the usual "sorry to see you go" letter. Very happy with it all!

Did you go via Quidco for the £80 cash back?

I switched yesterday 21/4/15 and just paid in £1000. Now I wait patiently for my £150.
