Should I use Hermes?

I sell on Ebay and I have been advised by a friend to use Hermes. Can anyone tell me if they are good or not, or should I go to someone else? Many thanks and hope you can help.

If you pay for a signature, the carrier is supposed to obtain a signature. By virtue of obtaining a signature it means the parcel isn't left in a 'safe place'. The signature doesn't have to be the addressee.
