Going back a few years, I was looking for a Mondeo or similar sized car. I sat in a Vectra and couldnt wait to get back out. Seats were not comfortable and the dash just made me think gloomy plastic dungeon.

That's an interesting viewpoint. I must admit, I find Ford interiors to be very cheap feeling.
I've not been in a Vectra since I passed my test so I am not sure what they're like but I'm definitely going to take time to find the right car. I can use my wifes C4 Picasso for a short time if need be and have asked for donations towards a car for Christmas off my family so may even be able to increase my budget slightly.0 -
