Now, now, at least teaspoons are useful.

I don't enjoy debating with her, but sometimes I think a counter argument has to be made, especially with some of the stuff she posts. I can't sit back and let her accuse "all Muslims of being terrorists" for example. Maybe I feel a sense of justice?

But she probably enjoys 'debating' with you - or to be more accurate - winding you up.

Why do you think a counter argument has to be made?

Disagreeing/arguing with her is not going to make one iota of difference to whatever situation you are discussing.

Why can't you sit back and let her rant about whatever she feels is wrong about the UK? smiley-confused013.gif
I don't see that feeling you have to disagree with her means you have a sense of justice.

You can have a sense of justice and keep quiet.

I often disagree with the opinion put forward by my mother and my friends, and that is often about immigration etc.

But I don't get into a debate about it - because all that does is fire people up (as it has you) and achieves nothing at all.

    So do it then.

I never understand these threads that say "I know I should do this BUT?" Personally I think people who don't do it yet moan about it are secretly enjoying having what they think is the moral high ground and coming over all self righteous.

Point her to discussion time on here. She'll fit right in!

Capital idea..we shall soon wear her down....
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

    Most people do, I guess.

If someone didn't think their view was right, I'd imagine that they'd hold a different view. smiley-confused013.gif
