We need to replace the millions of missing young people somehow, or this country is doomed, through an imbalanced age profile.
Whereas you seem not to care....
Is your hatred of immigration and desire for a smaller Britain really worth condemning millions of people to a life of penury over?
you also hold the view that we could automate huge number of jobs right now which would mean we don't need millions and millions of new migrants for economic reasons.
there is no discernable upward pressure on wages
there is no shortage of labour
there is massive shortage of housing in London
London has a young age profile
maybe your huge (Scottish) inferiority complex and dislike of the English, makes you wish so much harm on them and their families and to cloud any rational judgement disregard much basis economic data.
we all note that most immigrants don't choose to settle in Scotland.0 -
And what hourly rate would the people providing the childcare be entitled to ??
What a strange question, What do you actually mean if it isn't the obvious?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
If we did vote yes to leave th EU...
What would happen to all of the EU migrants in the UK at the time? Would they need to apply for a visa? Would they leave the UK? If a significant number leave house prices would crash?... And so would our economy?Peace.0 -

Well if we kick out the EU citizens, I'm guessing that the EU will kick out the British citizens.
Most immigrants are young, yet you hear complaints about the 'pressure' they put on the NHS.
Considering that literally hundred of thousands of British people living in the EU are retired (so over 60-65), if they were to all come back here the NHS would suddenly dearly miss all these immigrants...
Even if the UK was to leave the EU, my best guess is that it would make very little to no difference to the immigrants already here.
Not least because no-one suggests leaving the single market (or are they?), which is where freedom of movement comes from (e.g. Norway is not in the EU but you can move there, and they can move here freely).
And of course no-one would want to crash the economy.0 -

Well people are always complaining that childcare is too dear..................and then on the other hand people are always complaining that wages are too low ...........you cannot have it both ways.
If people want "cheaper" childcare then how do they propose the carers are paid the "living" wage.......whatever the rather vague "living" wage means0 -

there are the issues to the staffing levels and ofsted rules and regs.0 -

Cake and eat it springs to mind.
As in the Middle East domestic labour is imported. Creating 3rd class citizens. The world is not an equal place.0 -

I think the whole point is to get rid of the foreigners, taking our jobs and our wimmin.
Let's face it, all those nostalgic UKIP voters want to hark back to a time when Britain wasn't full of darkies.0 -

And how would coming out of the EU sort that then? Considering most in the EU are infact, white?
You don't need to answer of course....you could just throw some more insults.0 -
i really don't think UKIP is a racist party at all.
at the very least racism isn't its raison d'etre.
it never particularly targeted any of the mill towns, the obvious place you'd aim for if you were looking to attract plain old **** bashers, as the BNP did with a relative degree of success a few years ago.
ukip's main efforts have been in areas that were historically tory voting but, how can i put it, not especially wealthy or sophisticated.
the south west, east of england, bits of the provincial south east. not, in the main, places with loads of immigrants. but always majoring on the the grey vote.FACT.0
