I found this credit score calculator, which is interesting to play about with. ( sorry if it's already been mentioned).

Not sure of the accuracy, but you can put in different options to give an idea of how the different elements my affect your score.

You've been at least 1 (and possibly 2) months in arrears* on both these accounts in the last 2 and a half years.

    * A late payment will generate a 'status 1' as well.

Is that likely to result in a bad credit score? Not too bad for two and a half years I reckon

    I don't know - I only have zero's on my CRA reports. ;)

It's bound to affect a lenders credit score, but as to how much is anybody's guess.

Apologies if this has already been covered-
Experian have just told me that your online application is likely to be delayed (4-7 days) if you apply between 10pm and 7am. Whether the system allows you to input the information or not, the application goes through as incomplete and is refered to manual sorting.

Can you request the free trial Experian Report using a debit card or does it have to be a credit card.

Whilst you can purchase your £2 statutory report with a debit card, you need to use a credit card for CreditExpert...
From the end of your 30 day trial period, membership is billed to your credit card at £5.99 per month. CreditExpert accepts Visa or Mastercard payment.

    Hi there

I am hoping someone can help me, i signed up for a 30 day free credit check report and discovered that i have had history with vodafone, i have never had a contract with them and never applied for an account with them so cant understand why in 2003 i am supposed to have had an account with them that is now closed but is still £15 in credit.

I have never had any money go missing from me so dont feel its a case of me losing out but can anyone tell me how i would go about sorting this out (even though it was 3 yrs ago) and even claiming that £15 back??

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Why do they make you fill out all your details only to tell you that their service is down! Both Experian and Equifax!
