  • Hi all, thanks for checking in on me. Things are ok. Had a few difficult days with DH, and DS2 has been sent home poorly from school this morning :(, but otherwise we are ticking along.

Robin, driving lesson money is an awesome idea. Not sure he’d leave it alone until then, but I’ll certainly suggest it to him.

DH found the rolls of wrapping paper etc in the loft when we got the Christmas tree down. I knew I would’ve had some! Typical I’ve already bought more, but it’ll do for next year. Someone tell me next year that I really do have some if I can’t find it again :rotfl: Xx

Hi Lucky, the driving lessons Robin mentioned reminded me we bought DS a driving lesson experience which was brilliant and he really enjoyed it. I think cash is always a winner with teenagers but they also seem to like experiences and there are some pretty good ideas and deals out there. I think I got it through Gr&oupon and it cost £30.

Typical about the wrapping paper, but at least you're already organised for next year :D xx

Sorry to read about the horrible dentist. No excuse for such behaviour and they won't have many patients left if they keep it up :( It's unpleasant enough as it is going to the dentists, they shouldn't be making it worse.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Told MiL about the dentist, and without telling me, she rang up and made a complaint :o. The nice dental nurse rang me again (why is it her job not the dentist or office manager?!?!) and said I could go in and discuss what happened with them, but I don’t want to. I’ve made my views clear, we’ve transferred to another dentist within the practice, and we will leave altogether if we aren’t happy after that.

Had yet another run in with DH tonight. Really fed up. Apparently I’m not allowed to be snappy/annoyed/fed up, but that’s all I’m feeling right now Xx
