You live and you learn. Now you know to be more cautious and never go back there so don't beat yourself up, too much. It wasn't by a huge margin that you were short and it's not like you do these things regularly. What's done is done, all we can do is learn and move forward. Well, that's what I'm currently telling myself! haha.

How sad this makes me, you rarely treat YOURSELF to anything putting other people / your family first in everything.

I am so sorry to hear, how the salon treated you, is there somewhere you can do a review?

I understand re going into OD, hooray for sister, you would do the same back, and if you asked her would she be happy that she contributed to a treat for you? She knows more than any of us, what a lovely wife, mummy, sister, daughter, granddaughter, friend etc etc you are x

Thanks all :A. I’m a little wary of leaving a bad review, purely as I wouldn’t want to people who gave me the voucher as a gift to see it. Will have a think.

Staying in today and trying to be frugal. Possibly meeting up with friends tomorrow depending on what they want to do and if our budget will allow. I want to do more eBay listing hut I’m mindful that we are away with MiL next week, so postage could be difficult. I could really do with a little cash win :cool: Xx

Hi Lucky, that's a real shame about the salon especially as it's not something you do often. Feeling special and pampered is all part of the package in my opinion.

What a lovely sister you have coming to your rescue like that.

Could you put the things on Ebay but say you won't be able to post them until such a date so people are aware?

Hope you manage to get out tomorrow although I think we're all in for thunderstorms again aren't we according to the weather forecast. xx

I’ve listed a few things on eBay for 5 days instead of 7 so I would be able to post them before we go if they sell. Fingers crossed.

We had impressive storms last night but today has been lovely. Tomorrow we are being given a 50% chance of rain all afternoon, but that basically means they don’t know I think!! I hope it isn’t too bad for you Xx
