Good news about the carers break payment :)

Glad you enjoyed your hotel stay. I hope you find a way to manage after the overspend.

I'm following your blog, good luck with it :)

Wow that's amazing well done :T. That was really sweet about getting a free hotel stay after the staff read your letter too :).

  • I wrote a massive post mid week and lost it, so I’ve been in a huff and not posted since :o:rotfl:.

That’s the first week back at school done. DS2 seems to have settled in to his Middle School well, and DS1 feels like he has never been away.

I got a £10 voucher from my complaint with the ‘golden arches’ :D.

I’ve ordered DS1’s birthday present from Amazon using vouchers earned entirely from swagbucks. I’m really pleased with this achievement but I’m equally scared but that means I now have ZERO savings for Christmas :(.

Glad the DSs are all settled in back at school :)

Not too late to get the Xmas savings started - you can do it :)

  • We’ve had a no spend weekend :T. Much needed as I don’t know how we will manage the week ahead . I asked my Mum for my birthday money early so I could pay for things in London a couple of weeks ago, so I won’t be getting anything on Wednesday. We are supposed to be going out for a meal for DS1’s birthday on Thursday, and I had some listings on eBay which were ‘sure to sell and would cover it’. Except they didn’t and now I don’t know what to do :(.

My Grandma is back in hospital :( Xx

You could put the meal for your DS off for a wee while?
Sorry to read about your Grandma xx
