Fingers crossed grandma pulls through again xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

A week since I posted .
Grandma had Labyrinthitis, and was in hospital until Thursday, but home now :A.
DS1 and I had our birthdays. DH told MiL I had been in tears and worrying about money etc, so she paid for DS1’s birthday meal and a few other things. She also took DH shopping and helped him buy me a present as I’d told him we couldn’t afford it :A. One of the things that relisted on eBay after not selling last week has a bid on it, so hopefully money will be a little better next weekXx

Hi, sorry for absence, there’s been a lot going on and I thought no one would miss my whinging posts!!
So, in a nutshell (or at least the things I can remember).
Both boys have been poorly. DS2 went on a school trip in the pouring rain, to somewhere with NO shelter and came back so soaked even his undies were ringing wet. Unsurprisingly he was then poorly with a heavy cold/cough/sore throat. DS1 ended up in A&E with suspected appendicitis!! 12 hours later they decided it was either a type of acid reflux or swollen stomach lymph nodes causing problems. He’s on tablets for the next two weeks and then we can take it from there if he’s still having issues.
I found a couple of lumps in my armpit . Been to breast clinic today and all seems ok, though they want to check back on my last mammogram to make sure that an 8mm area is just a lymph node. If it wasn’t the same 3 years ago, or has just appeared/got bigger then I’ll be called back in for a biopsy.
DH has also been to hospital, but this one was a planned trip to see the Epilepsy Consultant. All is staying the same with his meds for now.
I’m sure lots more has happened but all the days have been blurring into one. I’m absolutely exhausted XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks for all your lovely replies. I’d got it into my head that no one read my diary anymore, so nice to hear from everyone
.
Beanie, thank you for the feedback on the page. I was wondering if I was boring people on there too :rotfl:.
Something I forgot to mention in my update, which actually took up quite a lot of time, was that we were approached to be on tv. My lovely Sis had nominated us for the Eat Well for Less programme, and they were interested in including us. We had a few days to think it over, but as a family decided not to go ahead. It would’ve been great in terms of possibly saving money and certainly for memory making, but we weren’t confident in having tv crews in our house. It’s not in the kind of state I’d like it to be in for National TV!! DS1 was also anxious about appearing on tv, and moreover they said it would be 9 days of filming and I wasn’t sure DH would be ok each day. Lovely to be considered though. Maybe another time.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
