We had a lovely day :T. The boys and the dogs played in the river and we had a yummy picnic. Definitely some memories made
.
Hairy, some of those gifts I buy ARE just token gifts. I realise it seems a lot still, but they are the most important people in my life and they all help me out year round, so I’d feel awful not getting anything at all for them. They probably wouldn’t mind thoughXx

Morning Lucky
Sounds like you all had a really nice day. Those are the sort I used to love more than any other when the DC's were younger.
I think your Christmas list is pretty good and I'd feel the same about gifting a small something if people were helping me out through the year. I buy for 9 and then a couple of token gifts for my friends. Family wise we stop buying when nephews and nieces reach 18 which means over the years that's knocked about 10 off the list and I only have one to buy for now.
Have a lovely day. xx0 -
Glad you had a lovely day

Happy July!! (Already ).
Nothing major to report. DH has been angry/sleepy/complaining of feeling unwell so we haven’t been far. Upside to that is a NSD :T. Budget is tight as everything is due out of this fortnight’s money so not a lot of wriggle room. To make things worse, Oakley has a sore paw so we might end up with a trip to the vets.
DS2 has 2 transition days from tomorrow at the Middle School. Can’t believe how grown up my baby is getting!! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi Lucky, your boys are growing up fast
Is Oakley's paw something you could just ring and ask the vet about. One of our dogs managed to pull a nail out and it was bleeding quite badly so I rang the vet for an appointment but she told me to dip it in cornflour or ordinary flour to see if that worked and then to ring back if it didn't stop. It worked :T And that phone call probably saved me quite a bit of money, so I'm wondering if you could ring for advice first? xx0 -
Hope Oakley is on the mend really soon.

Thanks tea. The groomer said she’d found and removed a grass seed from his paw, but there was some pus so she’d put ointment on it. He didn’t seem fazed at all that day, but the next day he started biting at it. He wouldn’t leave it alone so I put a sock on it and he left it eventually. This afternoon I noticed blood on the side of him and on closer inspection it seemed he’d scratched himself with his paw and the blood was actually from there. I’m worried it’ll get infected as time goes on and he’s definitely bothered by it. I’ll continue to see how he goes, but it’s already been a few days. I hasn’t heard of the flour idea, just bathing it XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Do you have any calandula cream?
If so, I would pop that on & then put the sock on itxx
