Oh Lucky that is the sweetest and saddest thing all at the same time! Big hugs. I would have liked the surprise, but certain people would just not let it rest. 'I don't want to buy yellow or green stuff!' - Jellys room was bright sunshine yellow and pink was utterly banned. NO one bought pink clothes unless they had it pre-approved. MiL went off the rails a bit, and her taste is not like mine shall we say. I just accidentally died a dozen vests, two t-shirts including one brand new junior jasper conran that Jelly got for Christmas, and my BRAND NEW white jeans a fetching shade of pink thanks to the neon pink ralph lauren jeans MiL bought Jelly for xmas. They nipped into my whites unseen
She is such a brand oriented person, and I am the opposite. Ah well. I will find some dye and dye my jeans a different colour. My t-shirt will go to rags, Jellys will try to be rescued, and the vests and socks can suck it.
Hahaha she is one of a kind my little lady. Cheeky monster! I'm not sure I could repeat such a fab kid again!

Aaah sorry Lucky, I also missed the coming off the new meds post. I can see your worries about a possible forthcoming seizure then
.
Well done you for fighting the £10 charge, the amount of times I just suck it up when I should kick up a stink. Maybe you have given me the strength to fight the next injustice that hits me.
Congrats Nicky noo on your pregnancy. I found out the sex both times as early as I could, but I have serious control freak issues, I hate surprises and I am incredibly impatient :rotfl:.
That was such a sweet thing to do for our FIL Lucky.... Sad & sweet

Hi Lucky!
Oh my goodness. Your diary and the people that post here make me tear up, laugh and feel like part of a family everytime I read it. I am so glad you all had a good Christmas. Mine was good too. Something magical about being with family and having a good old fashioned cooked dinner.
Can't wait for New Year and New Starts. I hope we can all be there for each other through thick and thin!

I'm counting on it October, my friends on here are what get me through most things. I'm definitely more 'thick' than thin at the moment though :rotfl:.

Steph, no need to apologise, I know it's hard to [STRIKE]make sense my waffle[/STRIKE] keep up. DH appears to be on a more even keel at the moment, but I'm still nervous. He was very jerky in his sleep last night so I didn't sleep well, waiting for something more, but it didn't happen. I wonder if there will ever be a time that I'm not on edge? It's been 4 weeks since the last full seizure, and the two previous episodes to that one were also 4 weeks apart .
Lilt, I hope you managed to rescue your laundry. Nowt wrong with pink socks though.
We've had a nice day celebrating my Auntie's 60th birthday. Lovely to see extended family, some of whom I haven't seen for a few months as they live in Yorkshire. Feeling quite down tonight though and trying to shake myself out of it. As we were discussing on Lilt's diary, there are many people in the world facing worse things at the moment and I must keep remembering that XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hey you, just because I choose to look at things from one perspective today, does not mean that I don't have a mooch and a cry at other points. Don't discount your feelings, and please share/explain the cause for your unhappiness flower. It is good to get perspective yes, but bottling things up is not the answer...
Always here... big hugs xx

Thanks Lilt.
I made a balls-up today with the banking, for which I am annoyed with myself and will probably incur a charge. We have been super skint and I knew there was a possibility of a direct debit going out today, so I should have transferred some money from the savings account (DS2's party money), but I forgot. This morning when I checked the account nothing had debited so I just left it knowing that we get DH's DLA money tomorrow and it would be covered. I checked the account again tonight and it now says the direct debit left the account and was then returned . I am annoyed with the bank because if the debit had shown at 7am I could have transferred the money across to cover it, but I am more so annoyed with myself for not making the transfer last night. I will ring the bank to ask for the charge refunded and hopefully they will do it as a goodwill gesture because I haven't had a charge before. Still annoyed though.
On top of that I am just down. Emmerdale made me feel rubbish with their miscarriage storyline tonight, and I'm not looking forward to my Goddaughters 1st anniversary on New Years Day. Her poor Mum is struggling and I feel very helpless. I'm tired and I keep getting an overwhelming fear of dread from nowhere about nothing in particular. I don't think it helps that I've been waiting for a seizure.
Thanks for the hugs XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Just delurking to send some hugs (())
We all do those daft things from time to time. Look at me - I was saving 50p at Sainsburys whilst miserable at finding I'd lost my £900 bracelet. I had a little weep, and allowed myself to feel bad and it seemed to pass. I think it's worse when I try to stay strong. Trying to find the balance is hard.
But you're right, people on the debt free forums are so good, it makes such a difference to be able to share - problem halved and all that.
Hope you perk up soon. But there's nothing wrong with a little wallowing - just a little mind.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10
