Thanks pwps. I love playing in the snow when it's fresh and white and fluffy, but after that it can toddle off! I hate driving in it and walking in it, I just want to hibernate when it's here!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi PLMBL
Great to hear you had a good Seizure free Christmas so far. Could the new medication Dh is on be preventing the seizures ??. i do hope so, it must be horrible to feel like you are waiting for it to happen.
Hope you feel better today and the chocolate induced earache has gone. Did it properly snow where you are?? Hope you are all safe inside in the warm.
no sign of snow here in Dorset, the sun is shining.

Hello guys
I am so happy DH is seizure free. I do hope as StressedSteph says, that it is the new medication helping to keep DH seizure free

Lucky I am with you on enjoying it whilst it looks pretty and then wishing it would just go away! Hope if you do have it you enjoy it with the boys.

Lucky I am guessing the snow missed you too. It is a relief as I hate driving around here in the snow. DH went out with some friends to watch some football yesterday. He phone for a lift home for him and friends at around 8.30. When I got to the pub they all wanted me to stay for a cup of tea. As it was snowing I declined the offer, was quite assertive and only brought home those who were ready. Then the snow thawed very quickly . oops!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Steph, DH isn't actually on any new medications at the moment. He was on 2 medications when they decided to try a 3rd. He then had his weird seizure episode and they couldn't rule out it actually being the 3rd medication that caused it, so they started to wean him off it and that has now completely stopped. Whilst he was being weaned off, he had to take another medication for 10 days to keep him stable, and that has now stopped too so we are back to just the original 2 medications. In the New Year they are going to try him back on the 3rd medication again, and if the weird episode happens once more then they will be able to say for sure it was that medication and never try it again, if not we will see how we go on that for a while. It's all very much trial and error. So, the short version is that I have been expecting a seizure because all the signs are there and he is only on medications that have not prevented them before, so I am still amazed it hasn't happened. He has, however, been a bit better today.
Beanie, thank you, my ears are no better, no worse. I can cope with that.
Pooh, up until and hour ago we had avoided all snow but it has started now. It's too wet to lie though, and long may that continue! I don't blame you wanting to get back home promptly yesterday, the roads round yours will be no fun at all in the snow.
SA, I hope the snow is not too bad with you today. Lilt, love to you and Jelly as always.
So, today is Mum's birthday. I bought her a Gr0up0n deal for a meal, a new diary and some flowers. I purchased the flowers today so no NSD, but we didn't go out for a meal with her so money saved there. Apart from going to see Mum we have been to the basket ball court as a family and built even more Lego. Nice chilled day.
T@lk T@lk sent my bill by email today and the twots had added a £10 charge for me cancelling and reinstating my direct debit! This is what I had to do after they wrongly added a £50 engineer charge to my bill last month, so I had to pay the remaining balance by debit card after they did the refund, and cancel the DD as it was too late to stop it. I rang them and told them there was no way I was going to pay the charge, and to their credit they took the £10 straight off. However, then meant that for the second month running I was unable to access their 10% speedy discount. I'm down £1.85 which although isn't a fortune, it's important to me, so I shall be sending yet another email of complaint. Last month I was down £3 which they did give me back when I shouted loud enough.
Most of my thoughts today have been about money. Mainly because we have none :rotfl:. I've also been thinking about the B/card that is only 0% until 1st July, and I need to clear £175 per month to get that paid off by then, which may be a tall order when I've only really been hitting the £75 recently. If I don't manage to clear it by July, I will probably just suck up the interest until I do as it won't be worth doing a balance transfer. Will get my thinking cap on for ways to clear it faster though.
Hope everyone is well XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

How did I miss the coming off that medication?!? I thought DH was still upping it bit by bit and then climbing off the other!! The one with the issues with buccal? Ah - whatever, I am sorry it did not work out and hope that he can at least rule it out if nothing else in the new year.
Big hugs to you Mrs. We moneysavers all have money on the brain. It is all of us itching to get into the New Year so we can start afresh at whatever it is we are doing!! I love Christmas, and have had a great time but I am wishing it away!! And I opened a new savings account and a new current account to be used for savings todayImpatient because I tried to log onto that and I need a snail mail code! *pouty face*
£175 is a big ask, got lots coming up including birthday shenanigans to pay for. Don't stretch yourself too thin and take kindnesses where they appearxx

Thank you both Xx
Lilt, the medication you are thinking of is Clobazam, that's the one he was only on for 10 days and is the one that can not be used with buccal (within 6 hours of each other) as they are from the same family. It's highly addictive so he can't use it for more than 10 days at a time, however it can be used on occassions as a preventative measure (though as already discussed, if it doesn't work and a seizure occurs within 6 hours it's a 999 job as I can't give the buccal).
Thinking about the whole credit card/0% scenario, I pay £100 per month to the other card I have, as that will ensure it's paid off before that particular 0% ends. However, minimum payment is only about £40, so I'm going to ring them and see if I can reduce it to £50, freeing up the other £50 to pay towards Bcard. I'll increase it again when Bcard is cleared and closed.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
