  • Been full of cold for a few days. Hoping I'll feel better tomorrow for work. It's been hard enough plodding on at home :(.

DH had another partial seizure yesterday but still no full TC. You got it spot on SA, it's very frustrating for him (and for me - having to constantly repeat myself especially with a cold and sore throat :().

Puppy has been out for walks from today :T. Also had flea and worming treatment as part of a follow up check with vet nurse. That cost £9 in total which I didn't think was too bad.

Pleased to hear pup has been out for his first walks. I remember how scared I was the first time we let ours off her lead, I was convinced she'd run off. Just think of all that extra exercise.

Hope the Lucky household are feeling better soon xx

  • Over a week since I last posted :o!!

    Quick catch up;

Lost another 3.5lbs at chub club making 12lbs in 3 weeks :j.

DS1 was brave and had 2 teeth removed as part of the 'getting braces' process :T. He had a day off school the next day due to his mouth being tender, but otherwise coped really well.

DH has had waves of fear but still no TC and we have now crossed the 30 week mark which is astounding! All hail the Kepra medication!!

We went to the theatre on Thursday night as a treat from Young Carers. We saw Mary Poppins, which despite being a 'bit girlie' for the boys, we all very much enjoyed. It's the first time the boys have seen a show other than a pantomime and it was a good introduction.

Work has been manic. They are desperately low on staff due to sickness/folk going awol and it's horrendously busy :(.

Puppy has doubled in size, literally. He's loving his walks and hopefully my weight loss will benefit too! SA, I feel sick at the thought of letting him off the lead . Has to be done at some point though.

4 more school days until half term again yay :D Xx

    Waving madly again.

Lovely news to hear, all seems positive, including not having a TC, it reminds us how lucky we are to have and also access to such medicine both physically and cost. ( Photos today in church about a village in mozambique which gives a lot of food for thought)

Need a pup photo for all of us to go arghhhh

    Love and hugs BM

Glad you enjoyed Mary Poppins. Years ago my mum took DS, DD and I to see the Nutcracker ballet at Christmas. DS was about 10 at the time and DD was about 8. He was absolutely mesmerised by it - I thought he'd hate it and it was DD who didn't enjoy it.

Well done on the weight loss, sounds like you've got your mojo back.

    Pup is absolutely gorgeous :)

  • Bad couple of days with DH. No TC seizure, but constant mini seizures, very vague, repeating himself and angry outbursts. I'm fed up if I'm honest :(. It's hard not to get frustrated.

Lost a pound at fat class yesterday, wanted more but suppose it will do! Need one more pound to make a stone.

Parents Evening for DS2 tonight, and all is well :D.
