Thanks all, things are a bit better. Mini seizures have stopped and he's 'bumbling around' a lot less! I've calmed down and feel less stressed.

So it's half term :T, boys broke up on Thursday. Took doggie to the beach yesterday which he loved and didn't cost a penny. We all got our hair cut in the afternoon which felt expensive at £32, though I know that's cheap really for four of us. Today has been an 'at home day', with just local walks, and then that lot watching a film with MiL while I was at work. Work wasn't too bad this week.

Have booked a weekend away for us all for MiL's birthday. It's her 70th the day before Halloween, but we aren't going until mid November. Going to a wonderful self catering cottage that we've stayed in before and is dog friendly. Got it for the bargain price of £99, and it's our gift to MiL but obviously we benefit too . Can't wait!

2 weeks ago I won the raffle at chub club for 12 free weeks worth £49.50 :T. This week DH won the prize which was a load of fresh vegetables so we've benefited from a lower shopping cost too. Did gammon in cherry coke for the carnivores in the slow cooker today with a load of roasted vegetables, and there's still loads of meat left too. I like thrifty meals :rotfl:.

We've stayed there before and have 'liked' the business page on Facebook. The cottage owner (who I now count as a friend) posted that they were going to be offering 2 night stays on a daily deals site soon, so I sent her a message and 'got in there first'. Really can't wait to go.

Today has been a NSD :T. Not bad at all for half term, but to be honest the weather has been awful so we've just hung around the house, save for dog walks. Xx

How old is Penny now Sparky? Oakley is 14 weeks today! Can't believe how fast it's gone. He barked for the first time today - at 7am! Quite a shock at that time of day when you are still half asleep :rotfl:. Xx

DS1 had a friend over this morning, then he had an event with Young Carers in town this afternoon. It was meant to be a 3 hour event but I got a call after an hour to pick him up . Thankfully we had decided to hang round town and wait for him otherwise that would've been a right palaver just getting home and having to go back again!

Yesterday I took my Grandma out for coffee. She's been quite poorly again recently and has been granted respite care in an old folks home for a couple of weeks. I think she's done great so far living on her own with no help at 81, but it's good knowing she's being looked after just now. I enjoyed her company yesterday just thetwo of us.

Lost 3.5lbs at chub club last night. Got my stone award, Slimmer of the week and Slimmer of the month too!
